Arizona Democratic Sen. Ruben Gallego is launching an effort to challenge a new Trump Administration immigration policy that could require many green card applicants to leave the United States and complete the process abroad.

According to a report from The Hill, Gallego is not only seeking to overturn the policy itself but is also pursuing a procedural strategy that could make it easier for Congress to reverse the change.

The dispute revolves around a recent U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) policy affecting how certain immigrants obtain lawful permanent residency.

RUSSIA THREAT – UKRAINE WAR

Pentagon: Putin’s nuclear threat won’t deter US aid to Ukraine. Russian President Vladimir Putin’s recent threat to use nuclear weapons will not staunch U.S. aid to Ukraine, the Pentagon’s top spokesperson said Thursday.

US weapons, partisans played role in Ukraine’s successful offensive. Standing on Liberation Square in the city of Kharkiv, Ukrainian military officer Antolii Sidorenko looks the part of a special operations commander, with a long beard, shaved head, and a pistol on his hip.

Putin faces fury in Russia over military mobilization and prisoner swap. Russian families bade tearful farewells on Thursday to thousands of sons and husbands abruptly summoned for military duty as part of President Vladimir Putin’s new mobilization, while pro-war Russian nationalists raged over the release of commanders of Ukraine’s controversial Azov Regiment in a highly secretive prisoner exchange.

Things just seem to be getting closer and closer to having our world blown to bits. If, but actually when, the war between the United States, Russia and China starts there will be nuclear weapons flying all over the globe. There really won’t be much left when all countries involved are destroyed. I’m glad I’m so old and will most likely be gone before it happens. I’m beginning to think that my 26 years of serving in our military, fighting in Korea and several tours in Vietnam, was a waste of time. The world doesn’t seemed to have learned anything over the years.

I just wonder when they will take over our military bases they purchased land adjacent to.
