ANALYSIS – Just recently, Democrats and the establishment media toted an open letter of “more than 200” former members of the Bush Sr., Bush Jr., John McCain and Mitt Romney teams endorsing Kamala Harris and Tim Walz as proof of a groundswell of Republican support.
But was it really 200 people, and were they all really Republicans?
I was surprised at the number when I heard about it at first (there are a few RINOs and Never Trumpers out there), but didn't give it much thought. However, the left-leaning media kept touting the list to add credence to their narrative of a supposed Kamala wave even among Republicans.
Before I had a chance to review the list more closely, Tyler O'Neil and Elizabeth Mitchell at The Daily Signal did a deep dive themselves.
What did they find?
Well, as expected, the letter is a whole lot of smoke, but not much fire. While it does include some senior former RINO officials and politicians, the letter artificially inflated the number of former GOP staffers to blow smoke.
Surprise. This list is as bogus and misleading and deceptive as the rest of the Harris-Walz campaign.
In their article the authors note that, “many of the signatories were interns or apolitical staff, and many of them went on to work for then-President Barack Obama and current President Joe Biden.
In their tweet, The Daily Signal authors noted that “this list has three groups of “former Bush, McCain, and Romney staff” who arguably don't belong and may have been added just to pad the numbers.”
They include:
1 INTERNS. Yes, people who interned for a presidential campaign or a Senate office are on this list as if they represent GOP politicos.
2 Apolitical staff. There's a guy who flew Marine One for George W. Bush (props) who also flew Marine One for *checks notes* Barack Obama. Not exactly a GOP politico, huh?
3 People who went on to work for Democrats in more political roles.
Their article added:
Many of the former Bush 41, Bush 43, McCain, and Romney staffers who signed the letter held apolitical positions that do not necessarily reflect alignment with the Republicans for whom they worked. Many of them stayed on under Democrats because their jobs did not involve partisan affiliation.
Others on the faux list were leftist all along.
Brooks Nelson, a former Bush intern, showed his true ideological stripes by posting online congratulating a woman who started a new job at abortion monster Planned Parenthood.
“This makes me so happy!! Congratulations! You're going to make a huge impact!” Brooks wrote.
Meanwhile, Jeffrey Bobeck, who served in the Bush Department of Energy, now leads ‘Innovators for Democracy,' a liberal group that endorsed Biden in 2020 and has now endorsed Harris.
As O'Neil and Mitchel wrote:
If you want to publicly back Harris, fine. But this list doesn't represent some sort of groundswell among Republicans.
So just this bogus propaganda to the rest of the deceptive contrived campaign for the fake candidate and her dishonorable running mate. You have been warned.

Thanks for being a honest reporter. I recently saw a clip of Jim Carrey’s Liar Liar , where they showed his secretary asking for a raise and the excuse he made and then it quickly shifted to Tim Walz making
a statement on what he had said………..very apropo and funny,
