ANALYSIS – It only gets worse. The Biden administration is aiding and abetting foreign terrorists or at least suspected terrorists. Under Biden, foreigners here illegally have increasingly been caught trying to enter U.S. military installations across the country.
In the most recent example, two suspected terrorists, both from Jordan, were given a slap on the wrist and released on bail after they attempted to breach the Marine Corps base at Quantico, Virginia, in May in a rented box truck.
They lied to Marine guards at Quantico and claimed they worked for an Amazon subcontractor and were there to make a delivery. Fortunately, the Marines quickly determined that the two foreigners had no business being there and asked them to pull into a side area.
The potential terrorists, finally identified as Hasan Yousef Hamdan and Mohammad Khair Dabous, ignored instructions of military guards and tried to drive onto the base before they were stopped by anti-vehicle barriers and arrested for trespassing.
They were then remanded to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) custody.
As I noted before, the fact that they are both from a Mideast country here illegally (one crossed Biden’s open southern border, the other overstayed a student visa), used a rented box truck and used a fake cover story to try to gain access to the base.
They then tried to breach the gate. All this points to the two being potential terrorists or at least scouts conducting recon or a dry run for terrorists.
Note that Quantico, just south of Washington, also isn’t just any base. It is home to the FBI Academy and FBI Laboratory, as well as a Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) facility, a few other federal agencies, and several major US Marine Corps commands. It is a major and sensitive federal and military installation.
Most uniquely, the base houses the Marine HMX-1 presidential transport squadron, the white-top and green-bottomed helicopters often seen flying around DC, or at major foreign presidential visits. When the president is onboard, these helicopters are known as Marine One.
“Big-time intel failure, security failure,” a federal law enforcement source told The New York Post. “If it wasn’t an act of terrorism, why aren’t the government officials releasing the details of this? What was the intent?”
Considering all this, I would send the two to Guantanamo. Or we should at least keep them in custody until we know more, or they can appear before a federal immigration judge.
But no. Federal prosecutors in Joe Biden’s Department of Justice decided to allow the two foreign perpetrators to post a $10,000 bond and a $15,000 bond in June and be released from federal custody.
And they did this in the sneakiest way possible.
The Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) noted:
For reasons not clear, DOJ attorneys – unusually, for such cases – did not file their charges in court for many weeks after the incident became news, not until July 9, in the Eastern District of Virginia in Alexandria. That’s more than two months after the arrests, when media interest had waned.
Because the government refused to release names of the arrested people on supposed privacy grounds and ostensible absence of any public interest, and also delayed filing court papers for more than two months, a systematic search in the Alexandria federal court building did not uncover the public court case records.
On July 22, when both Jordanians showed up for an “initial appearance” before a magistrate judge, ordinarily held quickly to advise arrested people of their rights and to inform them of additional hearings to come, no independent observers were present.
After appearing before Magistrate Judge William B. Porter in July, they were ordered released on the conditions that they show up to court for their immigration proceedings and stay away from Quantico or other military bases.
They are instructed to appear in a Virginia federal court in September. Of course, potential foreign terrorists would always follow court instructions.
An ICE official said there was no reason to believe either man had any ties to a terrorist organization, saying “no derogatory information was determined.” Wow, that makes me feel better.
But as CIS explained:
There could be many reasons the government might support the release of the suspects. Investigation may have shown they were not considered a threat or was inconclusive either way; an investigation did find derogatory motivation, but the Justice Department wanted to bury the story by foregoing attention-grabbing terrorism charges in favor of immigration proceedings; or even that the suspects may have become informants whose cooperation authorities would want to reward with a good-faith gesture.
Thankfully, ICE said the two men remain in removal proceedings, despite being free.
Still, this is Team Biden at its finest. First, they let terrorists into our country unhindered. Then they let them go after being arrested for potentially preparing an attack on a major U.S. military base.
The incident raised the ire of Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin, a Republican. “The Biden Administration’s failure to secure the border has brought this crisis to the front gates of our military installations,” Youngkin said at the time of the initial incident.
Now add to that, letting potential terrorists go after outing themselves by committing a highly suspicious crime.

Seem to me that this is how Joe’s finally earning that 10% for the Big Guy of the Biden’s Family’s Multi Millions Foreign Business Deals.
Why are these folks even in the USA? Who sponsored them, who approved their lawful residency? Sounds like an IMMEDIATE removal and forever banned from US Soil would be appropriate. Get them out of the USA NOW!
There was a time when anybody trying to enter a military installation illegally would be shot and killed. This should be a you bet your life decision. No slap on the wrist. We must get back to letting people know that we mean business!
There are too many “coincidences” of Traitorous actions to not suspect the government in situations like this. DOJ, CIA, FBI, Secret Service,DHS, exhibit corrupt and indefensible behavior at the top of the organizations. It must embarrass and infuriate the many honest hardworking members at the bottom levels.
