Elon Musk Tells Disney To ‘Go F*** Yourself’ After X Advertising ‘Pause’

-

ANALYSIS – Billionaire investor, anti-woke serial entrepreneur, founder of and SpaceX and owner of ‘' (formerly ) wants to make things very clear. If big woke companies (like ) try to pressure him by withholding advertising from his platform, they shouldn't advertise.

He doesn't care. And to “go f*** yourself.”

, a left-wing activist group that tries to pressure advertisers to stop partnering with conservative companies, is targeting Musk, allegedly over his agreeing with an antisemitic post on X.

As I noted here earlier, this accusation takes one brief Musk post out of context. And Musk clarified it numerous times. (RELATED: Texas AG Targets Media Matters Following Elon Musk's Defamation Lawsuit)

Still, Musk apologized for the post saying it was his “dumbest” ever social interaction:

I mean, look, I'm sorry for that tweet or post… I tried my best to clarify, six ways to Sunday, but you know at least I think over time it will be obvious that in fact, far from being anti-Semitic, I am in fact philosemitic.

reported: “Clad in a leather jacket, black jeans leather boots, and a necklace given to him by a family member of an Israeli hostage that says ‘bring them home,' Musk added that it's been ‘a hell of a year,' and admitted that he sometimes says ‘the wrong thing.'”

He made his most recent comments while being interviewed by Andrew Ross Sorkin at the DealBook Summit in New York City. The Blaze provided more context:

“Don't advertise,” Musk said about the advertisers.

“You don't want them to advertise?” Sorkin asked quizzically.

“No,” Musk responded. “What do you mean?” Sorkin asked.

“If somebody's gonna try to blackmail me with advertising, blackmail me with money? Go f*** yourself!” Musk said.

“Is that clear? I hope it is,” he emphasized.

Musk added: “Hey Bob, if you're in the audience, that's how I feel.” This was an apparent reference to Disney CEO Bob Iger, who spoke earlier at the summit. (RELATED: JPMorgan CEO's Message To Liberal Democrats: ‘Help Nikki Haley')

Other big woke companies such as Paramount, NBCUniversal, Comcast, Lionsgate and Warner Brothers/Discovery also paused advertising on X.

CNN also reported that:

Musk visited this week, where he went to a Kibbutz attacked by Hamas on October 7, spoke with families of Israeli hostages and met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Isaac Herzog.

But Musk said on Wednesday that his trip to Israel “wasn't an apology tour,” and that “it wasn't in response to all of that.” Musk said that he is a good person but he's not going to “tap dance” to show people that.

On Monday, Musk told Netanyahu of the recent attacks that “those who are intent to murder must be neutralized; then the propaganda must stop that is training people to be murderers in the future; and then making prosperous. If that happens, I think it'll be a good future…. I'd love to help.”

Meanwhile, Earlier in November, Musk followed through on a threat to file a lawsuit against Media Matters for allegedly manipulating data to make it appear that advertisements appeared next to white supremacist hashtags on the platform.
