Iran Threatens US Companies, Calls Them ‘Legitimate Targets’

Iran issued threats against major American technology and defense companies on Wednesday, warning that their reported operations in the Middle East could be targeted as tensions with the United States persist.

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) declared U.S.-linked firms “legitimate targets,” accusing them of supporting U.S. and Israeli military operations through technological and logistical infrastructure.

According to statements circulated by Iranian-linked outlets, the IRGC warned that attacks could begin as early as April 1, urging employees of targeted companies in the region to evacuate their workplaces and surrounding areas.

Tehran has also advised civilians to remain at least one kilometer away from facilities associated with the companies, citing the risk of possible strikes.

Iranian officials claim the firms are not neutral actors, alleging they provide cloud computing and artificial intelligence tools used in military targeting, intelligence gathering, and weapons systems support.

The Daily Caller reports the list is extensive — naming 18 companies, including Tesla, Palantir, and Microsoft:

“The main institutions involved in terrorist operations will be legitimate targets for our operations,” a translated version of the statement posted on X reads. “We advise the employees of these institutions to immediately distance themselves from their workplaces to preserve their lives.”

A subsequent post completed the list of “targets,” adding that the companies should expect “destruction of their respective units in exchange for each terror act in Iran, starting from 8 PM Tehran time on Wednesday, April 1st.”

The Islamic Republic has already targeted American companies in the Iran war. The country launched drone strikes against multiple Amazon Web Services facilities in Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) shortly after the Iran war began, triggering major outages in the region.

Big Tech firms have announced major investments in the Middle East in recent years. NVIDIA, Cisco, and Oracle — all listed as targets by the IRGC — announced a partnership with OpenAI in May 2025 to help build an artificial intelligence (AI) “campus” in the UAE. Microsoft, Amazon, Google, and Oracle have also said they will invest tens of billions of dollars in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

The threats represent a notable escalation in rhetoric, with private-sector companies being framed as active participants in modern conflict.

The warnings come amid an ongoing conflict that has resulted in significant casualties, including 15 U.S. service members, thousands of Iranians, and civilian deaths across multiple countries.

Security analysts say the specificity of the threats — including named companies, a potential timeline, and evacuation guidance — has raised concerns about their credibility.

However, it remains unclear whether Iran intends to carry out direct attacks or if the threats could instead involve cyber operations or other forms of disruption.

Take them at their word on this. They are desperate and are willing to do anything to make U.S. citizens anxious.
Even if they DON’T attack these business’, the loss of worktime that they will cause will make for a large monetary loss for these companies.
One of these two options are their intent.
Do we bow to the enemies of freedom and of the U.S.?
Do it once and they will try it again!
