According to Bloomberg News, the Israeli government informed the Biden administration of its intention to launch retaliatory strikes before the end of the weekend.

It has been reported that Israeli jets have carried out multiple airstrikes in Iraq and Syria, targeting Iranian proxies. There have also been reports of large explosions deep inside Iranian territory, which are likely to have been caused by Israeli airstrikes in response to the massive drone and missile attack by Iran on Israel that took place last Saturday.
There are unconfirmed reports indicating possible airstrikes in Daraa, Syria and in Baghdad, Iraq.
The suspected airstrikes in Baghdad allegedly targeted a meeting of high-ranking officials from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and its terror proxies.
Sources affiliated with the IRGC report that the Iranian city of Qahjaverestan was especially hard hit.
At Tehran's Imam Khomeini International Airport, all passengers have been instructed to evacuate the premises.
On Thursday, Iran cautioned that an attack on sites believed to be connected to its nuclear weapons program would trigger the implementation of the nuclear doctrine, expanding Tehran's ability to acquire them.
The Supreme National Security Council of Iran has convened for an emergency meeting.
