In a surprising admission on Saturday, Philadelphia radio host Andrea Lawful-Sanders revealed that President Biden’s aides provided her with a list of questions before his July Fourth interview.
Lawful-Sanders interviewed the president on Thursday on Philadelphia’s WURD. She disclosed to CNN that the White House sent her eight questions in advance. Out of those, she selected four to ask during the interview.
During the conversation, Biden attempted to praise Vice President Kamala Harris but ended up confusing listeners. He stated, “By the way, I’m proud to be, as I said, the first vice president, first Black woman, to serve with a Black president.”
Adding to the confusion, Biden also claimed, “I’m the first president that got elected statewide in the state of Delaware, when I was a kid.”
The New York Post has further details, including the administration’s response:
The White House later confirmed her remarks but said it’s common to send interviewers suggested talking points.
Biden stumbled repeatedly during his interview with Lawful-Sanders, at one time bizarrely claiming that he was proud to have been “the first black woman to serve with a black president.”

He also repeatedly stumbled during his appearance on a second radio interview — “The Earl Ingram Show” on WMCS in Milwaukee.
Both appearances on the black radio shows only managed to raise even more questions about Biden’s cognitive ability.
