Mike Pompeo is still an idiot. He was prank called and took it seriously.
Former CIA Director and U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, during a prank call with Russian pranksters Vovan and Lexus who introduced themselves as former Ukrainian president, Petro Poroshenko, stated that the West needs to pull Russia away [from China] and convince them they are better aligned with the West than the East.

“If this war stopped, we would start to convince the Russians that they are in a better position with us than with China,” Mike Pompeo said.
