A Texas man has been arrested after authorities say he threatened to bomb an upcoming Turning Point USA event and kill the organization’s CEO, Erika Kirk, in a series of disturbing online posts and emails.
Jacob Wenske, 26, was arrested Thursday morning in San Antonio and charged with felony terroristic threat offenses tied to alleged threats against Turning Point USA’s upcoming Women’s Leadership Summit scheduled for June 5-7 at the Marriott Rivercenter.
According to arrest documents, Wenske allegedly posted comments online threatening mass violence against the event and its attendees.
One alleged Facebook post stated: “I know exactly where to bomb.” Another reportedly read: “I can’t wait to be the valet for her escort.”
Investigators also uncovered an email allegedly tied to Wenske from earlier this year that reportedly declared: “Death to Erika Kirk and every single speaker there!!” The message allegedly threatened bombings at “every single Turning Point rally and event.”

Authorities say threats were credible
Law enforcement officials said investigators traced the threats using subscriber information, email accounts, IP address data, and phone records linked to Wenske.
Authorities reportedly considered the threats especially serious because of the size of the event and the current security climate surrounding Turning Point USA after the 2025 assassination of founder Charlie Kirk.
Following Charlie Kirk’s killing at a Utah event last year, Erika Kirk — his widow — became CEO of the organization and has continued expanding the group’s national campus and political operations.
Officials say security for the San Antonio summit has now been significantly increased.
Reports indicate additional uniformed officers, private security personnel, and bomb-sniffing dogs will be deployed at the event.
Threats against conservatives continue rising
The arrest comes amid broader concerns about escalating threats and political violence targeting public figures on both sides of the aisle.
Erika Kirk herself has reportedly received repeated threats in recent months. Earlier this year, Vice President JD Vance revealed that Kirk skipped a Turning Point USA event in Georgia after security concerns emerged.
The atmosphere surrounding the organization has remained especially tense since Charlie Kirk’s assassination in September 2025, an event that shocked conservative activists nationwide and intensified security concerns around high-profile political gatherings.
Wenske remains in custody at the Bexar County jail. Court records indicate his bond has been set at a combined $120,000.
