ANALYSIS – One more person that knows Tim Walz, 60, well is claiming he is unfit to lead and that he has bad “character.” This time it’s not his former military colleagues in the National Guard, but Walz’s older brother Jeff, who is 67.
The brother, who says he is 100% opposed to all his [Tim’s radical leftist] ideology, is considering endorsing former President Donald Trump.
While Jeff is not doing any interviews at the moment, in Facebook posts revealed by the New York Post last week, Jeff also hinted that he could release dirt on Tim in the run-up to the November election. The stories I could tell, he said.
As the Daily Wire notes: “The story comes as Tim Walz is facing increased scrutiny after being caught making misleading claims about IVF, his DUI arrest, past accomplishments, and misconstruing his military service.”
In the social media posts, Jeff said that Tim did not have “the type of character you want making decisions about your future.”
In response to one user on Facebook suggesting that Jeff should “get on stage with President Trump and endorse him,” the brother replied: “I’ve thought long and hard about doing something like that! I’m torn between that and just keeping my family out of it.”
If he does, Democrats may go after him over minor issues dating back decades. Like his brother Tim, who was caught going more than 40 mph over the speed limit, and possibly driving drunk, then lying about it, Jeff had a small brush with the law.
While he was an assistant principal at Crystal River Middle School, the older brother pleaded guilty in 2001 to misdemeanor retail theft (for items worth $13) and was sentenced to six months of probation.
An article in the Chadron Record from 1977 recognized Jeff Walz for being accepted into a national research program, and to graduate school at Iowa State University to study physics.
Jeff is certified to teach mathematics and physics. But that minor incident should not diminish what he has to say about Tim.
Meanwhile, as the Post reported:
As governor of Minnesota, he imposed some of the harshest coronavirus lockdowns in the country — which led to education levels plummeting under his watch.
Like Harris, he has repeatedly pledged his commitment to equity — a bedrock of Marxist ideology. And he turned Minnesota into a “trans refugee” state, signing legislation to protect gender-affirming care and to provide tampons in school bathrooms.
“Tim Walz’s own brother knows his socialist ideology is dangerous for America. Together with Kamala Harris, inflation will get higher, the illegal immigration crisis will get worse and our nation will look more like Venezuela,” said Rep. Nicole Malliotakis (R-NY).
“Someone who puts tampons in boys’ bathrooms, lets their cities burn during defund police riots and taxes citizens saddled with debt to give illegal immigrants free tuition should not be in elected office, let alone vice president,” she added.
Now, the question is, if Jeff starts doing interviews and endorses former President Donald Trump, will the establishment media give him the same fawning attention it has given Trump’s family critics, like his niece Mary, and his nephew, Fred.
