Republican Senators Lindsey Graham (S.C.) and Tom Cotton (Ark.) are spearheading efforts to draft a sanctions package aimed at the International Criminal Court (ICC) and its enablers. During a Fox News appearance on Sunday, Graham issued a stark warning to U.S. allies: “To any ally: Canada, Britain, Germany, France, if you try to help the ICC, we are gonna sanction you. … We should crush your economy.”

The escalating rhetoric follows the ICC’s unprecedented decision last week to issue arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant. The charges, which include crimes against humanity and war crimes, have sent shockwaves through the international community.
A Divisive ICC Decision
Thursday’s decision marked the first time the ICC has targeted leaders of a U.S. ally, straining relations between the court and the world’s most powerful country. The warrants legally obligate all 124 ICC member countries to detain Netanyahu and Gallant if they enter their jurisdictions, threatening to upend Israel’s diplomatic efforts for the foreseeable future.
The United States has long had a complicated relationship with the ICC. Although it initially signed the Rome Statute that established the court, Washington later chose not to ratify the treaty, citing concerns about sovereignty and the court’s potential overreach in prosecuting actions related to the U.S.-led Global War on Terrorism.
Context Behind the Warrants
The ICC’s actions are tied to Israel’s sweeping offensive in Gaza aimed at eradicating Hamas. During their Oct. 7, 2023, terrorist attack, Hamas militants killed over 1,200 civilians, prompting what Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu has called “the most terrible massacre in the history of our nation since the Holocaust.”
As further reported by Newsweek:
Netanyahu has called the ICC’s arrest warrant an “antisemitic decision” and said, “Israel utterly rejects the false and absurd charges of the ICC, a biased and discriminatory political body.”
Several countries including U.S allies such as Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, Lithuania, Canada, Ireland, South Africa, Turkey, Jordan, Norway and Sweden, have said they will comply with the ICC’s arrest warrant or are open to it.
…
Senator Tom Cotton, an Arkansas Republican, suggested in a post on X, formerly Twitter, on Thursday that the U.S. could invade the Netherlands, one of the countries that said they would comply with the ICC, if Netanyahu is arrested and brought there to face trial.
“The ICC is a kangaroo court and [chief prosecutor] Karim Khan is a deranged fanatic. Woe to him and anyone who tries to enforce these outlaw warrants. Let me give them all a friendly reminder: the American law on the ICC is known as The Hague Invasion Act for a reason. Think about it,” he wrote, referring to the American Service-Members’ Protection Act, which gives the president the legal authority to use “all means necessary and appropriate to bring about the release of any U.S. or allied personnel being detained or imprisoned by, on behalf of, or at the request of the International Criminal Court.”
The allegations facing Netanyahu and Gallant include directing attacks on civilians, murder, persecution, inhumane acts and using starvation as a weapon of war.
The court has also issued an arrest warrant for Hamas military chief Muhammad Deif.

There is no doubt that both the ICC and the United Nations work hand-in-glove to promote the Muslim agenda. I guess the ICC is ignoring the unprovoked attack on Israel back in October of 2023. I want to know how the ICC is going to enforce their judgment. What army or police force are they going to send in to remove Netanyahu from his office? I also want to know how does the ICC claim jurisdiction. Where does their power emulate? Just because they claim “international jurisdiction,” how did that come about, and who are the judges? I am sure there is no presumption of innocence. Let us test the ICC resolve and see just how far their reach is.
The first time as President #45 Trump walked into the presidency, he had no idea just how and who the people were who were as corrupt as he now knows. Unfortunately, he had to learn it the hard way. Even though he had been around many of these swamp people, the facade they presented covered much of the corruption they practiced. Well, as President #47 Trump he is fully aware of where the bodies are buried! WONDERFUL!! After all the attempts have been made to keep him from ever returning to this office – SURPRISE – HE’S BACK!! with a much better understanding of the job facing him. With God’s guidance and the good people he is selecting to help him and the American people, we can look forward to a Better America. Thank you, Jesus!! Welcome, Mr. President and the lovely First Lady Melania to the White House.
If a leader is proven to be involved in crimes against humanity, they deserve to be gone after. I do not care which country it is.
