Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has been the subject of intense scrutiny over his decision to send 50 migrants to Martha's Vineyard. Now, DeSantis is the subject of a class action lawsuit targeting himself and other Florida officials over the chartered flights from Texas to Massachusetts.
The lawsuit, filed in federal court in Massachusetts, named as defendants DeSantis, the state of Florida, Florida Department of Transportation Secretary Jared Perdue, and unidentified people accused of rounding up migrants in Texas.
The lawsuit, filed by attorneys from the organization Lawyers for Civil Rights, alleges violations of the U.S. Constitution and other laws, according to CBS News.
“These immigrants, who are pursuing the proper channels for lawful immigration status in the United States, experienced cruelty akin to what they fled in their home country,” the lawsuit said. “Defendants manipulated them, stripped them of their dignity, deprived them of their liberty, bodily autonomy, due process, and equal protection under law, and impermissibly interfered with the Federal Government's exclusive control over immigration in furtherance of an unlawful goal and a personal political agenda.”
Attorneys are pushing to certify the lawsuit as a class action that would include “all immigrants who have been, or will in the future be, induced by Defendants to travel across state lines by fraud and misrepresentation.”
Attorneys are also seeking a ruling that laws were violated last week, the lawsuit calls for blocking the defendants from “inducing immigrants to travel across state lines by fraud and misrepresentation.” (RELATED: DeSantis Decides to Play Hardball With Biden's Border Crisis)
The lawsuit alleged alleges that DeSantis and others “designed and executed a premeditated, fraudulent, and illegal scheme centered on exploiting this vulnerability for the sole purpose of advancing their own personal, financial and political interests.”
However, the Florida Governor's office has quickly refuted the lawsuit as “political theater” and claimed the migrants were flown on a voluntary basis. (RELATED: Flight Radar: Plane DeSantis Sent to Martha's Vineyard Headed to Delaware)
In a statement to Fox News, Gov. DeSantis' spokeswoman Taryn Fenske slammed the lawsuit and even provided proof that migrants were given consent forms in English and Spanish prior to boarding the flights.
“If these activists spent even a fraction of this time and effort at the border, perhaps some accountability would be brought to the Biden Administration's reckless border policies that entice illegal immigrants to make dangerous and often lethal journeys through Central America and put their lives in the hands of cartels and Coyotes,” Fenske said.
“The immigrants were homeless, hungry, and abandoned – and these activists didn't care about them then. Florida's program gave them a fresh start in a sanctuary state and these individuals opted to take advantage of chartered flights to Massachusetts,” she said. “It was disappointing that Martha's Vineyard called in the Massachusetts National Guard to bus them away from the island within 48 hours.”

Sending migrants to Democrat cities (regardless how good it feels to do so) is a band aid on self-inflicted would that only sends such migrants deeper into America and thereby that much more difficult to get rid of.
Instead, they need to be sent back to their countries of origin, if possible, at their own expense or their nations.
Better yet, we need to eliminate all of America’s current unlawful (that is, biblically unlawful, both illegal and legal) border policies, replacing them the Bible’s border laws, beginning with the First Commandment and its statutes and civil judgment.
Today’s open-border agenda isn’t anywhere near America’s biggest border threat:
“For I, saith Yahweh, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.” (Zechariah 2:5)
Without Yahweh, God of the Bible, as America’s principle wall of protection, the border will never be completely secure.
Compounding America’s border problems is that America has become so ungodly that, not only is God not her wall of protection, but He’s become her greatest enemy. America officially rejected Yahweh as her Sovereign and thus His immutable moral law as supreme in 1789 when she replaced Him with We the People as her Sovereign and His moral law (including the First Commandment as America’s principle border and immigration law) for the biblically seditious Constitution as supreme, per Article 6.
It was then that America began her suicidal trek to the precipice of moral depravity and destruction she presently find herself teetering on, being pushed over the edge by alleged Christians and patriots who are bent on promoting the genesis of her national woes as the solution to the problems created thereby.
“[B]ecause they have … trespassed against my law … they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind….” (Hosea 8:1, 7)
Today’s America is reaping the inevitable ever-intensifying whirlwind (including her border and immigration woes) resulting from the wind sown by the constitutional framers and fanned by today’s hoodwinked Christians and patriots who have been bamboozled into believing today’s whirlwind can be dissipated by appealing to the wind responsible for spawning the whirlwind.

Biden is breaking every law there is by opening the borders, He should be the one taking care of illegal immigrants coming into this country, they have no rights here, they are not citizens of this country and didn’t come into this country legally to get citizenship.
