Dr. Oz Administers Medical Aid to Flight Passenger

Doctor Mehmet Oz may be running for U.S. Senate but he's not abandoning his medical background. The Pennsylvania Senate hopeful knew exactly how to help when a passenger on his American Airline flight suddenly collapsed.

The Trump-endorsed candidate administered first aid to a passenger during his Saturday flight from Louisville, KY to Philadelphia after the 27-year-old collapsed on his way to the lavatory.

Newsmax reports:

“I was sitting in my seat and a woman a few rows ahead of me yelled out that there was a crisis,” Oz said. “I ran to the bay and a gentleman had collapsed to the ground. He had been trying to get into the bathroom.”

“When I got to him, he was conscious but disoriented,” the cardiothoracic surgeon continued. “I asked the stewardesses to come help and get me something with sugar in it.”

Dr. Oz said after a flight attendant brought the passenger a soda he immediately began to recover.

“He started to sort of come back to himself,” he said. “He had a very thready pulse, so low blood pressure, and when I gave him some of this beverage, he began to feel a little better.”

“He had driven all night long to get to the airport and I'm sure he was dehydrated because, with fluids, his blood pressure came up,” the celebrity physician said.

Oz noted that passengers can easily become dehydrated when flying due to the dry air. The celebrity doctor also added that the intense summertime heat doesn't help the situation.

The passenger received medical care after the flight landed and Oz also praised the flight staff for their professionalism through the tense situation.

This isn't the first time Oz's medical background has come into use while traveling. Last year he helped save a 60-year-old man at Newark Liberty International Airport in after he collapsed in the baggage line.

Oz is facing off against John Fetterman (D) in Pennsylvania's Senate race in November in what is expected to be one of the most contentious elections this year. The two candidates have remained neck-in-neck throughout the campaign trail however some analysts have predicted Fetterman as the likely winner. 1. I’m sure the MSM will NOT report this story of a man who helps others with NO expectation of an award or cash. We will never see the Bidens doing something like this. How would the “Big Guy” get his 10% cut?

  2. Great Job Oz in the mean time Fetterman who suffers from a stroke should pay more attention to his own health than the campaign trail! I guess being a Racial fascist is pretty stressful.

  3. Great response Doc for saving another passenger with an illness but the “left” will probably only report that the candidate referred to the Flight Attendants as “stewardesses”. So sexist!
Oz has bigger concerns with Soros money supporting the ailing Democrat Fetterman in a tight race.
