In an interesting twist, billionaire Elon Musk took a moment to praise President Trump’s international diplomacy efforts.
“Credit where credit is due,” Musk posted early Wednesday morning on his social platform X. “[Trump] has successfully resolved several serious conflicts around the world.”

Musk included a screenshot of a message Trump posted on his own platform Truth Social in which the president provided an update on ongoing negotiations to end the war in Gaza.
“My Representatives had a long and productive meeting with the Israelis today on Gaza. Israel has agreed to the necessary conditions to finalize the 60 Day CEASEFIRE, during which time we will work with all parties to end the War,” Trump wrote in the Tuesday evening post. “The Qataris and Egyptians, who have worked very hard to help bring Peace, will deliver this final proposal. I hope, for the good of the Middle East, that Hamas takes this Deal, because it will not get better — IT WILL ONLY GET WORSE.”
Trump has sought to resolve multiple international conflicts since returning to the White House in January.
On top of working to end the war in Gaza that started with Hamas’s deadly attack on Israel more than a year before Trump returned to office, the Trump administration has attempted to broker a peace deal in Russia’s war against Ukraine. Trump also intervened to end the 12-day military conflict between Israel and Iran after launching a U.S. military strike against Tehran’s nuclear facilities late last month.
Trump’s supporters have nominated the president to receive a long-sought Nobel Peace Prize for his approach to the multiple international conflicts, but Trump posted on Truth Social last month that he doesn’t expect the award.
“No, I won’t get a Nobel Peace Prize no matter what I do, including Russia/Ukraine, and Israel/Iran, whatever those outcomes may be, but the people know, and that’s all that matters to me!” he wrote.
Meanwhile, Musk, who is the world’s wealthiest person and served for months as the face of the Trump administration’s Department of Government Efficiency efforts, has vowed to back opponents of Trump’s domestic policy plan known as the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act.” (RELATED: Elon Musk, Lawmakers Clash Over Revised ‘Big Beautiful Bill’ As Senate Pushes For July 4 Passage)
On Tuesday, Musk announced he donated to Thomas Massie’s (R-Ky.) re-election campaign.
On Sunday, Trump eviscerated Massie on his Truth Social app, saying the congressman is a “pathetic loser” and “not MAGA.”
“Actually, MAGA doesn’t want him, doesn’t know him, and doesn’t respect him,” Trump said, a claim Trump apparently means to back up, as a short time later, Axios revealed the formation of a new Super PAC under Trump’s massive political operation that’s designed specifically to get rid of Massie in the 2026 Kentucky primary.

Honestly, Elon is acting like a child and I’m sick of it.
Are Trump and Musk jerking the media around because of the way the press previously treated them?
