Russian provocations? It was the U.S. and NATO that went back on the agreements of the early 90’s with the Russians when we said that NATO would not expand. It did not help that we (especially the U.S.) refused to help Russia integrate with Western Europe when the Soviet Union broke up. Had we allowed that, maybe none of this would have happened. Then, in 2014 under obama, we engineered the overthrow the then Ukrainian government, installed a new government that began oppressing the country’s ethnic-Russian minority, paving the way for Russian intervention. Later, after Russia invaded Ukraine and occupied Kyiv, the Russians and the Ukrainians worked out and signed a cease fire deal in Istanbul. We, with the Brits (Boris Johnson delivered the news to the Ukrainians), would not allow the Ukrainians to go through with the cease fire. Since then, hundreds of thousands of mostly young men have been killed and wounded on both sides, and we keep pumping more money and arms into Ukraine. For what? And during all this time, the only person who has talked with the Russians has been Tucker Carlson. Luckily, Putin knows Trump. He knows that Trump wants to see and end to the fighting. I think that’s why he has held back after the most recent provocations. Thank God we have less than 5 weeks until the incompetent fools of this administration are out of office.

Being 70 years old. I grew up on a farm. Shooting rats, weasels, with a fire arm was a common thing, as soon as you could hold and aim. But on a even better note. Back then, 9th grade every one had to take a GUN SAFETY COURSE . By then most students already had prior hunting license. Then years later if you did not have prior hunting rights. You had to pass hunting safety course. MY POINT !!! If you hunt or not ? KNOWING how to SAFLEY handle weapons is a VERY WISE and TRULY NEEDED in today WORLD!!!! THEN these so called accidents involving JUVINILES would have NO MERIT or Blaming the GUNS ,or PARENTS. MY QUESTION to all that object . Cars kill more than GUNS !! So there is DRIVER SAFTEY CORSES, is that sensible and reasonable ?? So more so for the bad GUNS ?? I will go to extremes on SAFTEY !!! KNIVES, law mowers, chain saws. The SERIOUS POINT ,I am trying to make: ANY TYPE OF SAFTEY TRAINING is Worth while. Drop and roll !! So KUDOOOS to them !!! The more sound SAFTEY PRACTICES, the LESS accidents and LOSS of LIFE and LIMBS, Now that is GREAT START for the NEW YEAR and possible needed for WORLD WAR III.
