U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland has spoken publicly for the first time following the FBI's decision to carry out a search warrant at Mar-a-Lago. Despite that, the attorney general did confirm that he “personally approved the decision to seek a search warrant in this matter” due to “the required finding of probable cause.”

When Obama tried to push Garland as a SCOTUS, raved about how great he was, I was curious. Since he has been DOJ, I am thankful Obama never got his wish. Ironically Obama seems to worry about his legacy, and with good reason as Joe Biden, Garland, and funding the Wu Han lab, maker of Covid 19, can easily be laid at his doorstep.

DOJ handling of the Hillary “matter” was pure Clinton theater. They knew the tarmac meeting would get out. Lynch would step aside and take the unprecedented action of rendering the whole DOJ useless, so Comey could rewrite the law, and let Hillary walk.
In any other legal scenario, the Deputy steps in when the top person is compromised. Did Deputy Attorney General Rosenstein suddenly cease to exist? This was the equivalent of a State AG, handing off to a Chief of the State Police, who has no legal standing to prosecute a case.
That was the goal. The MSM focused on Comey instead instead of asking that question. That was the goal.
Bill Clinton brought Lynch into his 1992 campaign, to bury Hillary’s conflicts of interest. In the process of establishing the questionable charter for Madison Guaranty Savings & Loan to facilitate White Water, Hillary got approvals from the financial regulators appointed by her husband. (it’s in the congressional report on White Water.) And, Bill appointed Lynch as a federal prosecutor in 1999.
Garland has never changed, except to get become more arrogant and out of touch. He has always used the law as a weapon. He was in the Bethesda, MD, DA’s office when I was stationed in DC in the 1980s. He would charge people with crimes for exercising their rights, then hold weekly press conferences ranting about how guilty they were. Even worse, he intentionally delayed trials for months, to drive up their legal bills. In every case, juries produced not guilty verdicts in about an hour.
Viktor Orban in his address said it best: don’t doubt that Progressivism and Communism are the same. They are.
