Biden’s ‘Pass-The-Torch’ Speech Pushes For Radical Supreme Court Overhaul

President Joe Biden took to the airwaves Wednesday night, delivering a speech that left everyone scratching their heads. Reading from a teleprompter, Biden addressed his abrupt decision not to run for reelection all while managing to dodge the elephant in the room – his cognitive decline.

Instead, he pulled a classic bait-and-switch, suggesting he’d conquer cancer before packing up his desk in six months.

A Masterful Dodge

You have to hand it to Biden’s speechwriters; they crafted a narrative so glowing, it could double as a light source. Rather than addressing the obvious health concerns plaguing his reelection, they painted him as a tireless public servant. The twist? He’s supposedly passing the torch to the next generation purely out of altruism. The man who’s supposedly had the most successful presidential term in modern history (cue eye roll) is stepping aside – for no apparent reason.

The Oval Office address took an alarming turn when he called for Supreme Court reform. Instead of tackling real issues – like, you know, inflation – Biden decided to take a swipe at the very institution that’s been working to shrink the bloated size of our government and return power to the people.

The Hill further reports:

Multiple outlets have reported that Biden is considering proposals to establish term limits for Supreme Court justices and an enforceable ethics code for those on the high court.

It would mark a significant shift for Biden, who has long resisted calls from progressives to back Supreme Court reform because he worried it would politicize the court.

The Supreme Court and its 6-3 conservative majority has in recent years made a series of landmark decisions, overturning Roe v. Wade, ending affirmative action and granting wide immunity to former President Trump for official acts he took while in office.

What He Didn’t Say

Let’s be honest, folks. The real reason Biden’s not running again might have something to do with the fact that navigating stairs has become a high-stakes adventure for him. But instead of giving us the truth, we got a promise to cure cancer. That’s right, Biden’s aiming to wrap up a centuries-old medical challenge before his farewell tour is over. Ambitious? Sure. Realistic? Well, we’ll let you be the judge.
