A troubling new internal report card assessing the first six months of Kash Patel’s leadership at the FBI concludes he is “in over his head,” while his deputy, Dan Bongino, is described as “something of a clown,” according to the alliance that authored the document. The same group previously warned about what it called crippling DEI initiatives and politicization of the Bureau during the Biden administration.
The 115-page assessment characterizes the Patel-led FBI as a “rudderless ship” and “all f–ked up.” Multiple internal sources told investigators that Patel lacks the experience and temperament expected of an FBI director. One source said he “has neither the breadth of experience nor the bearing an FBI director needs to be successful.”

Even a self-described Trump supporter expressed doubt about Patel’s readiness, saying he is “not very good,” “may be insecure,” and “lacks the requisite experience” and the “measured self-confidence” needed to run the Bureau. Another source described Patel as “very personable and likable” but said he has “created a culture of mistrust and uncertainty among the ranks.”
Salt Lake City Incident After Charlie Kirk Assassination
Much of the report’s criticism stems from Patel’s conduct during the investigation into the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Sources accuse him of delivering “premature public remarks” that risked compromising the case, taking public credit for work done by other agencies after the suspect was arrested, and yelling and swearing at the agent in charge.
Both Patel and Bongino were criticized for “arrogance” and an “unfortunate obsession with social media.” One source said the pair should “stop talking, stop posing, and just be professional,” while another said they were “spending too much time on social media and public relations” and seemed “too often concerned with building their own personal résumés.”
The report, written in the style of an FBI intelligence assessment, draws on information from 24 FBI sources and sub-sources and uses anecdotes to illustrate broader concerns. One such example is the widely discussed “medium-sized raid jacket” incident.

The Raid Jacket Anecdote
According to ALPHA 99—a “highly respected” longtime FBI source—Patel refused to step off the FBI jet in Provo, Utah, on Sept. 11, 2025 (the day after Kirk’s assassination), without wearing an FBI raid jacket. Patel had not brought one, and special agents engaged in the Kirk investigation had to interrupt their work to find a medium-sized jacket that would fit him.
A female agent’s jacket was ultimately delivered to the aircraft. Patel complained that “two areas on the upper sleeves did not have Velcro patches attached.” He refused to exit the plane “until he had two patches to cover those areas,” prompting an FBI SWAT team to remove patches from their own uniforms and send them to the aircraft. Only after the patches were attached did Patel disembark.
Patel “did not make a positive impression,” ALPHA 99 reported.
The source also said Patel had previously “yelled” at Special Agent-in-Charge Robert Bohls and directed “an expletive-laden tirade” at him over what Patel viewed as investigative errors. Bongino later called Bohls and apologized, saying the outburst “never should have happened.”
ALPHA 99 further criticized Patel for breaking FBI norms by publicly taking credit for work done by partner agencies in the Kirk case and implying the investigation would not have succeeded without his involvement.
Additional Findings
The report claims that televisions in FBI field offices are tuned to MSNBC (now MS NOW) and CNN—but not Fox News.
Subtitled “A Pulse Check of the First Six Months,” the report will be presented to the House and Senate Judiciary Committees this week. The authors insist it “was never intended to be a hit piece in any way, shape or form,” but note that “the anecdotal reporting from FBI personnel skewed 80/20 negative.”

So, please provide a workable team — one that gets what the voters voted FOR — that can cleanse all alphabet agencies and get them working the USA citizenry.
Or sit down.
With all the anonymous reports filled with inflammatory accusations, mostly about Trump and conservatives, that have appeared over the past few years, a cautionary note is prudent and rational. Most of these reports have proven to be exaggerated, partly accurate, or inaccurate. So I’m going to treat this report as we treat any form of anonymous intelligence. Evaluate the source, evaluate the data, and evaluate its credibility in the light of other reports. That isn’t the present woke standard; it is much better for deciding what actions to take.
A LEAK criticizing Trump and all those appointed or around him by agents within the FBI, a proven seditious and treasonous agency as shown for the past 10 years is to be expected
I do not like a news story where every (no one) has a name. This BS could be all Markist Democrats. It is so easy to speak vile tidbits when no one is able to confront their accusers. I enjoy your work, but not this one. Thank you, Linda Sue
