Bongino Breaks with Bondi
According to multiple reports, Bongino — a longtime Trump ally and former Secret Service agent — took a personal day on Friday after a tense internal meeting where he reportedly confronted Bondi over the reversal.
The Daily Wire’s Margaret Olohan first reported that Bongino informed Trump he would not remain in his post if Bondi keeps hers.
Patel May Walk Too
Adding fuel to the fire, FBI Director Kash Patel is also said to be considering resignation in solidarity with Bongino, according to reporting by Mediaite’s Ahmad Austin Jr.:
“Source close to DOJ says Kash Patel also wants Pam Bondi gone, and that he’d consider leaving if Bongino leaves,” Olohan said. “Also that there are more frustrations with other documents Bondi hasn’t released.”
Patel, who was initially tapped by Trump to overhaul intelligence agencies plagued by internal leaks, has expressed deep frustration over the memo’s timing and content — particularly its failure to match Bondi’s earlier claims.
MAGA Movement Reacts: “Broken Trust”
The incident has ignited a rare schism within the pro-Trump camp, with grassroots activists and influencers accusing Bondi of “betrayal” and demanding accountability.
Both podcast host Tucker Carlson and Fox News personality Jesse Watters have both questioned the DOJ’s credibility in recent broadcasts, pointing to the memo as another example of how justice for the powerful remains elusive.

Bondi is on the verge of destroying the MAGA movement. This is incredibly stupid. People like Bongino and Patel are men of integrity and know right from wrong. It appears Bondi can be controlled by the politically powerful people. Cannot have an AG that is for sale(like Garland was). Bondi needs to stand for the truth or resign.
