Despite years of championing dangerous immigration policies and advocating for open borders, California Governor Gavin Newsom (D) says repealing a Trump administration border policy is a mistake.
The Biden administration is moving forward to end Trump’s Title 42 border policy that permits police and border officers to expedite the expulsion of illegal immigrants.
On Monday, Gov. Newsom told ABC News, “The fact is, what we’ve got right now is not working and is about to break in a post-42 world unless we take some responsibility and ownership.”
“I’m saying that as a father,” the governor added. “I’m saying that as someone that feels responsible for being part of the solution and I’m trying to do my best here.”
“The more we do, the burden is placed disproportionate on us,” he said.
“We’re already at capacity at nine of our sites,” Newsom continued. “We can’t continue to fund all of these sites because of the budgetary pressures now being placed on this state and the offsetting issues that I have to address.… The reality is, unless we’re doing what we’re doing, people will end up on the streets.”
Newsom’s comments come as a stark reminder to the Biden administration that its backward immigration policies come at a high cost to Americans.
Fox News reports that roughly 22% of California’s 11 million immigrants are in the country illegally. Earlier this fall, Newsom signed a bill allowing illegal immigrants to obtain state ID, saying, “We’re a state of refuge – a majority-minority state, where 27% of us are immigrants.”
Experts have predicted a massive migrant surge at the border when Title 42 expires at the end of the month. Lawmakers from both sides of the aisle have publicly defended Title 42 and have pushed to keep the policy.
Earlier this month, The Justice Department filed an appeal to keep the policy.
As American Liberty News previously reported:
“The government respectfully disagrees with this Court’s decision and would argue on appeal, as it has argued in this Court, that CDC’s Title 42 Orders were lawful,” Justice Department attorneys wrote in the notice.
The administration’s strategy is to ask the D.C. Circuit Court to pause the appeal until the New Orleans-based 5th Circuit in Louisiana has decided on a separate case involving Title 42 — a process that could take months and perhaps more than a year.

We don’t need any enemies. We will destroy ourselves just fighting each other. These fights are absurd. We are all Americans. Let’s unite to protect our country. Our leaders are violating their oath of office by not protecting the country. Biden and Mayorkas should both be impeached.

Today’s open-border agenda isn’t anywhere near the biggest border threat to America.
“For I, saith Yahweh, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.” (Zechariah 2:5)
Without Yahweh, God of the Bible, as America’s principle wall of protection, the border will never be completely secure.
Compounding America’s border problems is that America has become so ungodly that, not only is God not her wall of protection, but He’s become her greatest enemy. America officially rejected Yahweh as her Sovereign and thus His immutable moral law as supreme in 1789 when she replaced Him with We the People as her Sovereign and His moral law (including the First Commandment as America’s principle border and immigration law) for the biblically seditious Constitution as supreme, per Article 6.
It was then that America began her suicidal trek to the precipice of moral depravity and destruction she presently find herself teetering on, being pushed over the edge by alleged Christians and patriots who are bent on promoting the genesis of her national woes as the solution to the problems created thereby.
“[B]ecause they have … trespassed against my law … they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind….” (Hosea 8:1, 7)
Today’s America is reaping the inevitable ever-intensifying whirlwind (including her border and immigration woes) resulting from the wind sown by the constitutional framers and fanned by today’s hoodwinked Christians and patriots who have been bamboozled into believing today’s whirlwind can be dissipated by appealing to the wind responsible for spawning the whirlwind.

I find it strange how many times we now hear Trump was right from the same people who constantly criticized him every time he did something while he was President. It’s time all politicians admit and stop fighting about things that are right for our citizens and our country. IMO
Newsom will say anything to get elected. He has destroyed California. Now he goes to the border to say its a disaster; goes to the border to say Trumps polices were correct. But he says we are a sanctuary state. With all these illegals coming into our Country we have our tax payers under arrest. Our schools, health care, welfare, Government programs, will our country ever recover. Why do these Democrats Republicans, Independent want to destroy our Country. I don’t understand why they want to destroy our Constitution, family values, Pride in our Country, making our Army services week, our Border unsure. None of this makes sense. We all need to come together. PLEASE EVERYONE COME TOGETHER.
