It’s not over yet.
Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts has put a temporary hold on the Biden administration’s plan to end Title 42. The ruling came hours before the Title 42 enforcement is scheduled to end.
The White House has until 5:00 p.m. Tuesday to appeal the decision. The Trump administration enacted Title 42 to expedite the removal of migrants to slow the spread of COVID-19.
Roberts’ one-page order follows a last-ditch appeal to the high court by 19 Republican-led states.

The order Monday by Chief Justice John Roberts comes as cities along the U.S.-Mexico border have been scrambling to prepare for an expected influx of migrants in anticipation of Title 42’s end.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) said the public health order “will remain in effect at this time and individuals who attempt to enter the United States unlawfully will continue to be expelled to Mexico.”
“While this stage of the litigation proceeds, we will continue our preparations to manage the border in a safe, orderly, and humane way when the Title 42 public health order lifts,” DHS said. “We urge Congress to use this time to provide the funds we have requested for border security and management and advance the comprehensive immigration measures President Biden proposed on his first day in office.”
Title 42 has prevented hundreds of thousands of migrants from entering the United States since 2020. Some Democrats warn the Biden administration that the expected influx could lead to chaos at the border and beyond.

New York City Mayor Eric Adams says that the projected number of migrants expected to come to the city could be detrimental to public resources that current New York taxpayers rely on.
According to Fox News, the annual “State of the City’s Economy and Finances” report released Thursday by the city comptroller projected $1 billion annually in spending through 2026 to cover housing, education, food, and other resources for migrants.

Last week California Governor Gavin Newsom also warned that repealing Title 42 could “break” the Golden State. Some experts have predicted the end of the policy could bring around 50,00 migrants to the border.
On Sunday, Rep. Tony Gonzales, R-Texas, told CBS’s “Face the Nation” that the border city of El Paso is in a “dire” situation with Title 42 set to expire.
“What is happening is it’s a hurricane of migrants,” Gonzales said.

That’s good as far as it goes. Now if the government only knew where those hundreds of thousands of illegals that they released throughout the country are so they too could be rounded up and sent packing. Why the democrats think allowing unlimited numbers of people to come to this country with no controls, and providing them with all the services that a taxpaying citizen can’t even get, is beyond stupid. Everyday the left gives us reasons why we need to purge every leftist democrat from our government while we still have the chance, and before they totally destroy our constitutional republic and replace it with their version of a socialist government, with them in charge, of course.

Now it is time to turn the busses back to Mexico, and clean out the hotels, motels, and everything else that is housing illegals. Let Mexico feed and house them or send them back where they came from. It will save trillions
