The presence of a person’s name in the files does not establish wrongdoing or criminal conduct…
A newly released batch of Justice Department records related to Jeffrey Epstein includes unverified allegations referencing multiple prominent individuals, including President Donald Trump, according to TMZ.
The documents are part of a larger tranche of materials made public Friday under the government’s ongoing Epstein files disclosure process. Officials said the release includes millions of pages of raw investigative material, along with additional multimedia files.
The records contain tips, third-party submissions, and other unverified intake material. They do not represent sworn testimony, criminal charges, or confirmed findings by federal investigators.
Justice Department officials and major news outlets have repeatedly noted that the Epstein disclosures include a wide range of preliminary investigative content, some of which was never substantiated or pursued in court.
The presence of a person’s name in the files does not establish wrongdoing, only that an allegation or reference was submitted during the investigative process.
Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche dismissed claims that the department sought to shield Trump from appearing in the newly released records.
“We comply with the act, and there is no ‘protect President Trump.’ We didn’t protect or not protect anybody,” Blanche told ABC News Chief Justice Correspondent Pierre Thomas.
ABC News continues, reporting on Blanche’s response:
Blanche said there was “no oversight” by the White House about what the material showed.
He added that if there was evidence in the files that others had abused victims, the DOJ would pursue charges against them.
One document in Friday’s release is a chart showing connections between Epstein and various employees and associates. Many are redacted — but the faces of several remain visible, including Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s associate Jean Luc Brunel, and Epstein’s lawyer, accountant, and assistant. The chart is followed by a list of individuals broken into three categories: Day of Arrest, Week of Arrest, and Weeks following arrest.
Blanche added that the government holds roughly six million documents related to the Epstein matter, but said not all can be released publicly because of child sexual abuse material and legal protections for victims.
He also stated that if evidence emerged showing others had abused victims, the department would pursue charges.
Trump has long denied any misconduct connected to Epstein’s trafficking network and has never been charged in relation to Epstein’s crimes.
The release — which includes records from Epstein’s criminal cases in Florida and New York, files tied to Ghislaine Maxwell’s prosecution, and investigative materials submitted over the years — has not resulted in new criminal charges.
Officials described the disclosure as compliance with the Epstein Files Transparency Act, signed into law in November 2025.
The release also includes miscellaneous past communications involving other well-known public figures. DOJ officials stressed that the presence of names or documents in the archive does not establish misconduct or criminal activity.

My takeaway from the Epstein- Elon exchanges is actually that Epstein repeatedly tried to get Elon to visit him and Elon kept blowing him off, saying he was too busy. There's nothing (in what I've seen so far) that says they actually met but lots of unrequited asks by Epstein.

The DOJ said the release includes court records, investigative files, and years of FBI tips. No new criminal charges have been announced, and officials reiterated that names or allegations in the files are not evidence of criminal conduct.
