On Wednesday, FBI agents traveled to President Joe Biden‘s beach home in Rehoboth Beach, DE to conduct a such for more classified documents.
Sources confirmed to Fox News that FBI agents are on the premises and will be until the search is complete. There is no warrant.
Biden’s attorney Bob Bauer told Fox News, “Today, with the President’s full support and cooperation, the DOJ is conducting a planned search of his home in Rehoboth, Delaware. Under DOJ’s standard procedures, in the interests of operational security and integrity, it sought to do this work without advance public notice, and we agreed to cooperate,” Bauer said in a statement.
“The search today is a further step in a thorough and timely DOJ process we will continue to fully support and facilitate. We will have further information at the conclusion of today’s search,” he added.
The search comes after classified documents were discovered in the University of Pennsylvania Biden Center think tanks in Washington, DC as well as Biden’s Delaware home.
Last month, Attorney General Merrick Garland tapped former U.S. attorney Robert Hur to oversee the ongoing investigation.
