Lawsuit Reveals More Cases of Tax-Funded DC Museums Kicking Out Pro-life Christian Tourists

-

Just weeks after the taxpayer-funded was sued for kicking a group of students out of the National Air and Space Museum for wearing clothes with slogans, a nonprofit public interest law firm is suing the National Archives for removing tourists for the same reason.

The is already representing nine students and three parents, visiting , D.C. for the annual , who were thrown out of the taxpayer-funded federal Air and Space Museum for having the word “Pro-Life” on their hats.

As federally-funded public institutions, the Air and Space Museum and National Archives are not allowed to discriminate.

The ACLJ's now reports “three separate and unrelated groups of individuals were stopped by security at the National Archives, including a pro-life grandmother and her granddaughter.”

“They were told to either take off or cover up pro-life attire, or they would be removed from the building,” Sekulow reports. “These individuals simply had shirts, buttons, sweatshirts, and hats expressing their support for the unborn or being part of the pro-life generation.”

One individual was allegedly told by a security guard to remove her pro-life pin while in the presence of the U.S. Constitution.

The two similar incidents, at the same time, both at federally-funded museums on the National Mall, call into question whether security was ordered to discriminate against pro-life Americans.

“We've seen how President Biden has weaponized the FBI and DOJ to target pro-lifers, how HHS is bearing down on pro-life Pregnancy Resource Centers, and now this. We expect there may be more,” says Sekulow.

In response the ACLJ sued, with the National Archives now agreeing to a policy “requiring them to allow pro-lifers into NARA facilities without issue and to provide every security officer and other visitor-facing employees with a copy of the consent order,” Sekulow reports.

“And as we demanded, NARA also has to apologize to our client for the stress and humiliation that was inflicted upon her and her granddaughter,” Sekulow adds.

  1. Looks like the pagan religious humanists are now exposing themselves. This State adopted religion is the enemy of our Constitution and Bill of Rights. This should be in front of the Supreme court.

  2. The left has protested all manor of good generally accepted principles. Once the family friendly forces arrive, they are shut down in a vile , and turbulent environments like the Jews amongst Nazis. This has got to stop or people will surely get hurt one way or another.

  3. Welcome to Biden’s America. Freedom of speech is under attack in all areas today.
And, there is such a blatant double standard in all of this. Since when is the murder of babies acceptable and trying to save lives is illegal? It saddens me that the our country has gone so off the rails.

  4. Whichever legal non-profits are supporting these lawsuits need to identify themselves and document their participation in their mailings, emails, etc. If valid, these folks should be supported to the max and should be awarded big bucks. And this should be publicized everywhere. AND, political candidates should beat the drum, too. Often these things die because the media moves on to other things, but clear First Amendment violations by the government should receive maximum coverage if we are serious about rolling back the woke mob and their governmental and media apologists.
