Republicans Take Victory Lap After Special Delivery to Vice President’s Residence

-

Two more busloads of migrants from America's southern border arrived in Washington, D.C. today. This time, they were ordered to be dropped off at the Naval Observatory — the residence of Vice President .

This is the latest group of migrants to arrive in the nation's capital and the location of the vice president's residence is significant because Harris has been assigned to head up the Biden administration's immigration issue portfolio.

Harris claimed that the border was secure during an interview on NBC's “Meet the Press” Sunday.

“I think that there is no question that we have to do what the president and I asked Congress to do, the first request we made: pass a bill to create a pathway to citizenship,” Harris stated. “The border is secure, but we also have a broken immigration system, in particular, over the last four years before we came in, and it needs to be fixed.”

Texas Governor , one of a handful of sending migrants to blue cities, said in a tweet he did this to “call on the Biden Administration to do its job & secure the border.”

Steve Daines, a Republican senator from Montana, chimed in on today's arrival saying that “get what they vote for.”

Christina Pushaw, Rapid Response Director for Florida Governor said Harris should be “grateful” for her visitors.

Meanwhile, Fox News reported this morning that — according to the migrants — the border is indeed open, despite Harris' claims.

, press secretary at the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) exclusively told American Liberty News the following:

The latest decision by Governor Abbott to send buses to the Vice President's home could not be more timely. This week alone the Biden administration — in both Karine Jean-Pierre and Vice President Harris — claimed that the border is secure, when it is obviously not.

It seems the only way open borders politicians will see the error in their ways is if the crisis is brought to them, since they outright refuse to see it firsthand at our border despite a plethora of invitations.

of the Immigration Reform Law Institute (IRLI) shared the following in an op-ed published in American Greatness this week:

Abbott's bussing initiative has shown how the sanctuary philosophy embraced by big-city mayors creates a vicious cycle of and squalor. Promoting sanctuary policies attracts more illegal aliens, in many cases those who have previously committed felonies. Soft-on-crime district attorneys commit resources to reduce “immigration consequences” for noncitizen defendants. Woke sheriffs rescind agreements to cooperate with Immigration and Customs Enforcement, which allows violent alien offenders to be released back into communities rather than face deportation.

The result is a community where the city's residents, including those here legally and illegally, live in fear so that elitist politicians can grandstand about their superior levels of compassion.

Today's arrivals in Washington, D.C. are the most recent ones to descend upon a northeastern city.

Ron DeSantis also flew a group of them to Martha's vineyard per an announcement yesterday.

Top DeSantis' aide Christina Pushaw responded to Massachusetts state Rep. Dylan Fernandes — who represents Martha's Vineyard — and said his town was housing and providing meals for the migrants.

Pushaw also responded on Twitter to a quip against DeSantis and Abbott made by Matt Royer, communications director for the Young Democrats. Royer praised Fernandes for taking care of the migrants “unlike DeSantis and Abbott.”

Pushaw swiped back, saying Royer should be OK opening up his own doors to the migrants.

Last week, D.C. Mayor and the city council announced a state of emergency concerning the migrants that were being bused into the capital city.

Bowser's press team told reporters today they didn't know the latest batch of migrants was coming to the District of Columbia.

  1. “Matt Royer, communications director for the Young Democrats. Royer praised Fernandes for taking care of the migrants “unlike DeSantis and Abbott.”’ ”

Royer has a lot of nerve. How many thousands of illegal aliens (no, they are NOT migrants since they have no intentions of going back to their native countries when the seasons change) did Abbott and DeSantis and the people of Texas, Arizona and Florida “take care of” before they finally said, “Enough is enough!”? But Royer and the other Democrats don’t seem to be able to look back that far. Maybe that is part of their efforts to erase and rewrite history – not just the history of the past few centuries but the history of the past 14 years, too.

That Southern border wall needs to be completed ASAP!!! And the gates need to be locked up tighter than a drum. Enougb is MORE than enough!

  2. This is what that wanted, and this is Biden’s and the rest of the Democrats doings so let them take care of them. They say the border is closed, let them decide if it closed when they start and continue getting illegal immigrants. Send them all to the blue states that said, we will welcome them. Good luck!

  3. Liberal logic continues to amaze me. Instead of seeing the root of the problem, which is the open border itself, they see the Governors responding to the open borders as the problem. And then they brag about how they took compassion on the couple of dozen people who arrived. That’s great! Now maybe we can send you another 2 million. Let’s see how compassoinate you are to them.
