In a swiftly deleted Truth Social post, President Donald Trump turned up the pressure on Attorney General Pam Bondi, demanding action against a list of prominent political adversaries and expressing growing frustration with what he called “all talk, no action.”
The post, which was removed within an hour of being published, directly named former FBI Director James Comey, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), and New York Attorney General Letitia James, urging Bondi to bring charges and accusing her of inaction despite months of calls for accountability.
“Pam: I have reviewed over 30 statements and posts saying that, essentially, ‘same old story as last time, all talk, no action. Nothing is being done. What about Comey, Adam “Shifty” Schiff, Letitia??? They’re all guilty as hell, but nothing is going to be done,’” Trump wrote.
The Push for Prosecution
President Trump’s comments reflect growing impatience among many conservatives who feel that when Democrats were in power, they relentlessly used institutions—from the DOJ to the media—to go after Trump and his allies.
Now, with Trump back in the White House and his handpicked attorney general leading the Justice Department, conservatives expect accountability—and quickly.
“They impeached me twice, and indicted me (5 times!), OVER NOTHING. JUSTICE MUST BE SERVED, NOW!!!” Trump added in the post.
Firing Sparks Further Frustration
The now-deleted post also addressed the ouster of Erik Siebert, the interim U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia. Siebert resigned Friday, though Trump claimed he was fired for refusing to act on cases against prominent Democrats.
“A Woke RINO, who was never going to do his job. That’s why two of the worst Dem Senators PUSHED him so hard,” Trump wrote. “He even lied to the media and said he quit, and that we had no case. No, I fired him, and there is a GREAT CASE.”
According to Trump, Siebert’s unwillingness to move forward with certain investigations—and his alleged past ties—made him unfit for the role.
A Swift Shift in Tone
Just one hour later, the president posted a far more diplomatic message, praising Bondi.
“Pam Bondi is doing a GREAT job as Attorney General of the United States,” Trump wrote. “She is very careful, very smart, loves our Country…”
However, Trump added that Bondi needed support from a “tough prosecutor” in Virginia and announced he would nominate Lindsey Halligan for the role. Halligan, an attorney who has been involved in high-profile cases related to election integrity and free speech, is expected to bring a more aggressive posture to prosecutions.
“She will be Fair, Smart, and will provide, desperately needed, JUSTICE FOR ALL!” Trump said.
Addressing the Media: “We Have to Act Fast”
Speaking to reporters Saturday night as he departed for the American Cornerstone Institute Founder’s Dinner, Trump clarified his position:
“No. I just want people to act. They have to act. But now we want to act fast,” Trump said when asked if he was upset with Bondi. “You know, they were ruthless and vicious. I was impeached twice. I was indicted five times. It turned out to be a fake deal.”
“We have to act fast one way or the other. They’re guilty. They’re not guilty. We have to act fast. If they’re not guilty, that’s fine. If they are guilty or if they should be judged, they should be charged. And we have to do it now.”
For many, Trump’s urgency isn’t just about revenge; it’s about restoring credibility to the justice system, ensuring that those who abuse power are held accountable, and sending a message that the era of conservative passivity is over.
What’s Next?
The Department of Justice has not publicly commented on the posts or the president’s statements regarding prosecutions.
As Trump’s administration continues to restructure key positions in the DOJ and U.S. Attorney’s offices, all eyes will be on Bondi and the president’s next nominee in Virginia.
Whether or not charges are ultimately brought, the message from Trump was clear: Justice delayed is justice denied—and the base is watching.
