Trump is wasting no time…

Hours after Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced his resignation the President-elect suggested merging the two countries.

“If Canada merged with the U.S., there would no Tariffs, taxes would go way down, and they would be TOTALLY SECURE from the threat of the Russian and Chinese Ships that are constantly surrounding them,” Trump posted to his Truth Social site. “Together, what a great Nation it would be!!!”

Trudeau announced Monday that he would be resigning before general elections later this year. (RELATED: Report: Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau To Resign)

“This country deserves a real choice in the next election, and it has become clear to me that if I’m having to fight internal battles, I cannot be the best option in that election,” Trudeau said.

After Trudeau’s announcement Monday, Trump touted the idea that many Canadians would “LOVE” the idea of being the “51st State” of the U.S.

The President-elect has threatened a 25% blanket tariff on all products imported from Canada and Mexico unless action is taken to curb the flow of illegal drugs and illegal immigrants into the United States. (RELATED: Trump Threatens Canada And Mexico With Massive Tariffs)

Trump said he also plans to add an extra 10 percent tariff on Chinese goods.

“Both Mexico and Canada have the absolute right and power to easily solve this long simmering problem. We hereby demand that they use this power, and until such time that they do, it is time for them to pay a very big price!” Trump said on Truth Social.

Trump claimed the potential the merger would be beneficial for the U.S., because it would “no longer suffer” from “massive Trade Deficits” and subsidies that it provides to Canada.

Trudeau has served as Canada’s prime minister for nine years and led the Liberal Party for 11.

According to Canadian pollster Angus Reid, Trudeau has a disapproval rate of around 68% as of Dec. 24, with a meager 28% of Canadians supporting him.

“Our country today faces a grave challenge,” Chrystia Freeland said in a letter addressed to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. “The incoming administration in the United States is pursuing a policy of aggressive economic nationalism, including a threat of 25 per cent tariffs.”

Not a good idea. The “elites” have a plan to merge with Mexico and Canada. We would be the North American Union. Just one of 10 unions. They already have the lines drawn.

Canada has 10 provinces and 3 territories, each with its own capital and local government. It would make more sense to add each of those thirteen entities as new states. Canada is too large and too diverse to be a single state. If taht were to happen, we would have 63 states. Wow, we’re going to have a busy flag with all those stars.
