Leftist Pundit Goes On Racially Charged Anti-American, Anti-White Rant

Podcast host and Daily Beast columnist Wajahat Ali delivered a racially charged tirade Friday in response to President Donald Trump’s pledge to halt “third world migration,” telling white Americans that “brown people” were “a breeding people” and declaring that Trump’s efforts are destined to fail.

Ali’s comments came during a livestream on his Substack program The Left Hook, days after two West Virginia National Guard members — Spc. Sarah Beckstrom, 20, and Air National Guardsman Andrew Wolfe, 24 — were shot in what officials described as a targeted attack near the Farragut West Metro Station in Washington, D.C., roughly a mile from the White House.

Ali: “There’s a lot of us… and we breed”

“You have lost, you lost,” Ali said during his monologue. “The mistake that you made is you let us in in the first place. That’s because brown people, and I am going to say this as a brown person, there’s a lot of us, like a lot.”

Listing population figures for India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh, Ali added:
“There’s a bunch of us and we breed. We’re a breeding people, and the problem is you let us in in 1965.”

Ali argued that Trump’s proposed immigration restrictions would be futile, asserting that shifting demographics made his goals impossible.

“American culture sucks”

At another point, Ali launched into a broad condemnation of American cultural traditions while mocking Trump.

“Your story is a shitty story, filled with misery,” Ali claimed. “It’s filled with bland chicken… dry-ass meat. Your music sucks. All your culture sucks.”

He contrasted American culture with non-white immigrant communities: “Our parties have better food, better music, better looking women.”

Immigration Debate Intensifies Following DC Guard Shooting

Ali’s rant comes amid heightened national tensions over immigration after authorities identified Rahmanullah Lakanwal, 29, as the suspect who fatally shot Beckstrom and critically wounded Wolfe. Lakanwal entered the United States in 2021 under President Joe Biden’s Operation Allies Welcome, the mass-parole program created following the withdrawal from Afghanistan.

He is the second Afghan migrant admitted under the program recently arrested for violent or terror-related allegations. Earlier this year, Mohammad Dawood Alokozay was arrested by Texas authorities after allegedly posting a TikTok video in which he claimed he was constructing a bomb.

Trump and Republican lawmakers have cited the shootings and arrests as evidence of vetting failures and renewed calls for sweeping immigration restrictions.

Violence Targeting ICE Escalates

Meanwhile, the Trump administration’s immigration enforcement efforts continue to face violent pushback in several cities.

On Saturday, rioters in New York City attempted to disrupt a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operation. ICE facilities in Chicago and Portland have also seen repeated riots, including attacks on conservative journalists and protesters pointing lasers at federal aircraft.

In Illinois, DHS warned in a September post on X of multiple violent attacks on an ICE facility in Broadview. In Dallas, two people were killed Sept. 24 when a gunman opened fire on an ICE office before committing suicide.

Texas authorities have reported at least two separate July incidents in which shots were fired at ICE or Border Patrol facilities, with ten people charged with attempted murder and conspiracy in a case out of Alvarado.

A Deepening Divide

Trump’s immigration proposals — combined with high-profile crimes involving migrants and escalating violence against federal immigration authorities — have become central in the national political debate. Ali’s comments, widely circulated on social media, reflect what many observers describe as a widening rhetorical gulf on immigration, identity, and cultural assimilation.
