Northwestern University, under the leadership of President Michael Schill, has once again let pro-Hamas radicals win – this time, by hiring a professor who serves on the board of two organizations with reported ties to terrorist organizations. Accuracy in Media is bringing a mobile billboard directly to Schill’s home to demand he resign.
Schill acquiesced to demands made by pro-Hamas radicals whose encampment was holding the campus hostage. This commitment included agreeing to hire two Palestinian professors. One of those professors is Mkhaimar Abusada, who the Washington Free Beacon reports serves on the boards of organizations with ties to terrorist groups.
According to the Free Beacon, Abusada serves on the board of the Independent Commission for Human Rights (ICHR) and the Palestinian Center for Human Rights (PCHR). These names sound benign, but they are allegedly actually tied to terrorist organizations.
“ICHR has praised Hamas and met with the terror group’s leaders, including Ismail Haniyeh, while PCHR has Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) members on its payroll—with one serving as its leader,” the Free Beacon reports.
This means that by hiring Abusada, Northwestern has hired a professor with connections to two groups that are designated as foreign terrorist organizations by the U.S. government.
Someone like this should not be teaching at Northwestern, and especially not teaching a course on “Palestinian National Movement.”
This is not the first time AIM has demanded Schill resign for surrendering to pro-terror extremists. With the latest development, things have gotten worse.
