Ben Shapiro Warns House Republicans Of Defeat In November: ‘Cruising For A Bruising’

-

During his Thursday program, slammed for their “incoherence and incompetence,” warning that their actions could result in Democrats regaining control of the House of Representatives in November.

Shapiro expressed annoyance with congressional Republicans' lack of a coherent stance on Ukraine, and the border, compared to the Democrats' relative unity.

“Democrats are way better at this game than Republicans. Republicans are by and large a fragmentary group, it's a coalitional group. Democrats are pretty much down the line,” Shapiro said. He advised the House to submit its legislation on border and foreign aid, instead of rejecting the Senate's proposals.

“The confused messages coming out of the is one reason why despite the unpopularity of the Democratic Party, Republicans are cruising for a bruising in November,” Shapiro added, before giving his election year warning:

I think people are whistling past the graveyard. I don't mean that is cruising for a bruising. Right now he is set to win election over Joe if the election were held today, I'm talking about in the House. There is a better than average shot that Republicans lose the House in November because of their own incoherence and incompetence. Here's Speaker talking about the bill and talking about the border. But again, if you don't put forward your affirmative position, people start to think that it's just chaos, which it kind of is.

Mediaite continues:

After playing a clip of Johnson extolling the need to secure the border, Shapiro responded by challenging Johnson to “pass some stuff.”

“Make Democrats say what they are for!” urged Shapiro. “Right now Democrats are saying what Republicans are for. Why aren't Republicans making Democrats say what Democrats are for at this point?”
