Boebert Owns Up After Denying Public Spectacle

-

Congresswoman is laying low after her and her guest's disruptive behavior at a performance of “Beetlejuice,” the musical.

Police officers prodded Boebert out of 's Buell Theatre after she refused to stop vaping despite a pregnant woman's plea. She also took photos, sang, danced and got extremely handsy with her date during the performance, leading to multiple complaints.

Boebert eventually left, but only after asking staff if they knew who she was, threatening to complain to the mayor of Denver and giving ushers the bird.

A spokesperson for Boebert initially denied the allegations, claiming the smoke from her vape pen was actually from the theater's fog machines.

The Republican herself dismissed the claims.

However, everything changed once the theater's video surveillance footage went viral.

The denials stopped soon afterward, as The Daily Wire's Ryan Saavedra notes:

Boebert released a statement on Friday night apologizing for her actions, saying that they “fell short of my values.”

“The past few days have been difficult and humbling, and I'm truly sorry for the unwanted attention my Sunday evening in Denver has brought to the community,” Boebert's statement said. “While none of my actions or words as a private citizen that night were intended to be malicious or meant to cause harm, the reality is they did and I regret that.”

“There's no perfect blueprint for going through a public and difficult divorce, which over the past few months has made for a challenging personal time for me and my entire family,” she continued. “I've tried to handle it with strength and grace as best I can, but I simply fell short of my values on Sunday. That's unacceptable and I'm sorry.”

  1. Is this just one of the first installments of the call to arms Biden’s White House put out to dig up dirt on Republicans? Seems like it is timed to coincide with his not too subtle attempt to get even for the Republicans calling him out on his “business” with Hunter.

  2. Unlike the majority of Democrats who double down instead of having the dignity to apologize, my hat is off to Republican Lauren Bieber for doing just that! Apologizing! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

    • True however I always suspect these caught with their pants down apology tours. IMO .. Are they heart felt apologizes or pandering ? I do think however to say she had the dignity to apologize is ill stated. She lost her dignity with her hand between his legs and his hand fondling her breasts , abusing those around her being subjected to her indiscretions , and lets not forget giving the authorities the finger while verbally abusing them with her narcissistic view of her self importance. A better path would be to humble herself ….if she has that capability which I doubt.

  3. I think the question should be if she” can not remember” her vaping and inappropriate groping …….what was she on ????? Another issue that needs saying is ….buy A dress that effectively corrals the girls.

  4. We’ve all seen far, far worse in the executive branch and far worse in the legislature. Wish I’d been there.
