Dem Strategist Admits Media Wants Kamala To Win

For years, mainstream media organizations like CNN, MSNBC, and the New York Times have faced scrutiny for claiming to report the news fairly and objectively while inserting opinions and bias, and operating to further an ideological agenda. While this change in tone didn’t begin with Trump, they dramatically escalated leading up to his election and throughout his administration, becoming even more damning when able to compare their coverage of Trump’s presidency to their coverage of Biden’s.

In the last eight years in particular, professionalism in “journalism” and “news” has taken a steep nosedive. When Joe Biden had reportedly defecated on himself, fallen up the stairs, was given instructions on getting on and off stage as well as which reporters with pre-approved questions to call on, some of the biggest outlets in the country tried to bury these stories. On the other hand, they made entire segments on Donald Trump’s Diet Coke consumption. They completely ignored Tara Reade’s allegations of sexual abuse against Joe Biden, while they harped on his consensual relationship with Stormy Daniels and the allegations of E. Jean Carroll, riddled with plot holes with no evidence or eye witnesses to back up its claims, and an eerie resemblance to an episode of Law & Order SVU.

For years, they’ve vehemently and repeatedly denied these claims, no matter how much evidence stacked up against their declarations of neutrality.

In a podcast interview with Politico’s former Chief National Correspondent Tara Palmeri, veteran Democratic strategist Doug Sosnik admitted what’s been obvious for years.

“She will get a lot of breaks by the press because they want Trump to lose.”

Certain CNN guests and hosts have surprised viewers by holding the presumptive Democratic nominees accountable, criticizing Tim Walz for exaggerating and fabricating his military credentials and Kamala Harris for her lack of engagement with the press since Joe Biden withdrew from the race and endorsing her.

But CNN guests and hosts are still defending the indefensible, making excuses for Tim Walz’s blatant mischaracterizations of his military service, deflecting to the “draft dodger” narrative about President Trump (who has never claimed to serve), and asserting that Kamala doesn’t have to take interviews because she’s busy with the vice presidency. No such leniency was given to President Trump when he ran for reelection in 2020. An MSNBC host even went as far as accusing the media of “whining” that Kamala wasn’t talking to them.

Harris is actively trying to distance herself from her far Left 2020 campaign, and recently adopted Trump’s “No Tax On Tips” proposal. The longer she delays answering tough questions, talking to the press or even laying out her platform, the more confused voters will be. Even if she was taking interviews, there could be worlds of difference between what she claimed her platform is on the campaign trail versus what it would be in the White House. After all, Joe Biden promised not to shut down the Keystone Pipeline, not to ban fracking, to “beat coronavirus,” to restore bipartisanship, to punish China for human rights violations, he broke them. And there’s no reason to believe Kamala would do anything differently.
