The House of Representatives on Wednesday approved a war powers resolution aimed at ending unauthorized U.S. military involvement in Iran, marking the most significant congressional challenge yet to President Donald Trump’s handling of the conflict.

The measure, sponsored by Rep. Gregory Meeks (D-N.Y.) invokes the 1973 War Powers Resolution and would require the administration to obtain explicit authorization from Congress before continuing hostilities against Iran, except in cases involving an imminent threat to the United States. The vote followed months of growing bipartisan concern over a conflict that began in.

Former CNN anchor Don Lemon has filed a lawsuit against Elon Musk and his social media platform, X, alleging that the billionaire reneged on a lucrative media deal. This latest turn of events raises questions about what really transpired between the two prominent figures at opposite ends of the political spectrum.

The Deal That Never Was

Back in January, Lemon agreed to host his new show on X, Musk’s wildly successful social media platform known for its edgy content and unfiltered speech. The deal was part of Musk’s plan to bring high-quality programming to X, aimed at attracting major sponsors. Lemon was set to receive a hefty $1.5 million annually, plus a share of the advertising revenue generated by his videos.

What Went Wrong?

According to the lawsuit filed in California Superior Court, Musk had also promised Lemon additional cash incentives as his account gained followers. An added twist? Musk himself was to be Lemon’s first guest, setting the stage for what could have been a major media event. However, things took a sharp turn during their interview when Lemon probed Musk about his political views and alleged drug use. The interview did not go well, and Musk swiftly pulled the plug on the deal.

A Broken Promise?

Lemon’s lawsuit claims that after his dismissal from CNN last year, he saw X as the ideal platform for his new venture. Despite Musk’s assurances that formal contracts were unnecessary, Lemon stated he felt betrayed when the verbal agreement fell apart. Musk allegedly told Lemon that X would continue to support the show, even if he disagreed with Lemon’s viewpoints.

The Bigger Picture

Musk increasingly finds himself in the media spotlight for embracing an unabashedly conservative image and prioritizing free speech on X.

Lemon is a hate filled little man. Musk should countersue and break the little bitch.

He owns the platform. He can cancel anyone he wishes to. Now that Don got a taste of his own medicine he does not like it. To bad Don that is what they make contracts for. Business 101 and you failed it big time

Don Lemon is an egotistical maniac failure who’s only recourse is to try and sue people That fact that they discovered his short comings and now he wants to retaliate. He’s a huge loser and absolutely needs to disappear from the world of so called journalism. Go away Don. Nobody wants the see or hear you anymore.
