Jordan Peterson Threatened With Losing His License Over Trudeau Tweets

-

may lose his license to practice psychology in the Canadian province of Ontario.

What was Peterson's , you ask? Fraud, drug use, professional negligence, maybe? No, according to Peterson, he's merely tweeted criticisms of liberal policies in general and Canadian Prime Minister in particular. Now, the world's most famous conservative intellectual claims he's being persecuted by the powers that be.

In a dramatic tweet, Peterson broke the news yesterday, revealing that the College of Psychologists of Ontario (CPO) is demanding he complete mandatory training “regarding professionalism in public statements” or face a disciplinary hearing.

As The Toronto Sun reports:

Peterson isn't being asked to reconsider his actions towards a fellow psychologist online, he's being asked to submit to social training for political statements he's made. None of the people who have lodged complaints are clients, Peterson said, nor are they connected to clients. They haven't experienced personal harm from Peterson, but they want the good doctor to be punished.

Oh, and Peterson said the roughly one dozen complainants are spread around the world and have gone through his comments online and in interviews over the past four years to make the complaints.

In a series of tweets, Peterson said that many professions in are now run by associations or colleges that are highly political and which impose fear on their members. He said this included physicians, lawyers, psychologists and among others.

“This means that your care and legal counsel has been rendered dangerously unreliable,” Peterson tweeted.

Peterson recently joined forces with the Daily Wire to help Ben Shapiro's conservative media empire ward off the threat posed by “woke authoritarianism.”

  1. Canada, like the woke “progressives” in the US, are practicing the Nazi and Marxist techniques those authoritarian regimes used. Read “The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich,” by W’m. Shirer.

  2. There are literally billions of us and only a few thousand of them. They should be shaking in their globalist boots.

  3. What is the wave of anti-freedom that is having success in what were premier examples of freedom without unjust imprisonment in three of the most noted of the so-called new world, The USA (an FBI that was probably running amok even before they went after Trump and got away with lying to CONGRESS and the FBI) with a president who may be a figurehead and rules by edict of Executive Orders that he signs as they are handed to him and Canada and Australia who may be worse. If we fail, there is no where for us to run!!!!!

  4. Being a psychologist, he should have known how a narcissistic megalomaniac would respond to criticism. Glad I don’t belong to any “professional” associations. Maybe we should call them political factions or something. Then again, I’m glad I don’t live in Canada where they have already shown their citizens what tyranny can do and that they will do it. After all, he does seem to get their “government” to back up his dictatorial plays and supposedly they are elected by the people up there, right?

  5. What the h*ll has happened to Canada? They used to be more libertarian and free-thinking than the US.
