MSNBC Host Loses It On Air, Curses Biden Out Over Foreign Policy

-

host was caught red-handed using vulgar language to criticize President Biden's decision-making process.

The hot mic moment came as a surprise given Reid's liberal bona fides and that she had just criticized congressional Republicans for supposedly opposing Biden's legislative accomplishments than taking credit for the benefits their constituents received. Afterward, she shifted her focus to the Senate's immigration negotiations.

“Case in point – fixing what they say is a crisis at the border with congressional negotiators continuing work on a bipartisan deal to tie border policy changes to funding for . Over the weekend, President Biden said he's ready to take action if is serious about solving the border issue,” Reid said.

Reports suggest that Trump aims to obstruct a Senate compromise border security package in order to use it as an integral part of his campaign against Biden's handling of the immigration crisis.

Reid aired an excerpt from Biden's speech in Columbia, South Carolina on Saturday. She continued speaking during the clip, ostensibly on the deteriorating situation in the Middle East and completely unaware that her microphone was still on.

“Starting another f**kin' war,” Reid griped.

WARNING: EXPLICIT LANGUAGE

As Mediaite's Michael Luciano reported, her mic was cut moments later:

“Still trying to kill the deal,” Reid said, presumably a reference to Trump that went unheard when her mic was turned off. “He bragged about blocking progress and said, ‘Please, please, blame him if it fails.'”

Later in the show, Reid apologized to viewers.

“Before we go, I just want to apologize very quickly,” she said. “I was chatting during a clip that was playing, and you know, we try to keep this show very PG-13, so I just want to apologize to anyone who was listening to my ‘behind the scenes' chatter. I deeply, deeply apologize for that.”

The prospect of a wider war in the Middle East grew exponentially over the weekend following a deadly attack on a U.S. base in Jordan.
