Fox News anchor Neil Cavuto criticized former President Donald Trump for spreading misleading information regarding federal hurricane relief efforts. During a conversation with U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, Cavuto addressed claims about the distribution of aid to residents in states like North Carolina and Florida, which have been severely affected by recent hurricanes.
“We’ve got a lot of misinformation out there,” Cavuto began, referring to reports that aid distribution was politically biased. He mentioned the claims circulating in North Carolina, where it was alleged that Republicans would receive less assistance than Democrats. “That does a huge disservice to people working together and scares the bejesus out of others when they believe it,” Cavuto added.
Secretary Buttigieg agreed, expressing concern about these accusations and their impact on public trust. “One of the things I’m worried about is the false claim that if you received $750 in immediate help, you wouldn’t get anything else,” Buttigieg said.

Former President Trump has faced criticism for suggesting that federal officials are neglecting Republican-majority areas in the aftermath of Hurricanes Helene and Milton. However, Trump and his supporters continue to push back, citing data that shows 26 of the 28 counties hardest hit by Hurricane Helene in North Carolina supported him in the 2020 election.

“What the hell was Cavuto @TeamCavuto doing yesterday on Fox? Kissing Buttigieg’s ass? This has become like a battle between sane people and ass kissers now!” pic.twitter.com/J9RWSmQ6i4
In response to the devastation caused by Helene, the North Carolina State Board of Elections implemented emergency measures on Monday to assist affected voters. The Board’s unanimous 5-0 vote, which included both Democrats and Republicans, aims to ensure that voters in counties with damaged infrastructure and disrupted postal services can still cast their ballots. These provisions extend to displaced residents within or outside the state and those living in disaster shelters.
For comprehensive information on voting in affected areas, residents can visit the North Carolina State Board of Elections’ website at ncsbe.gov/Helene.

Cavuto is an arrogant, elitist asshole. One reason I quit watching Fox. He has his head so far up Murdoch’s ass he hasn’t. Reached fresh air in a long time. Fitting that Cavuto is part of the most dishonest profession next to lawyers and politicians. Never watching him or Fox News again.
Neil Kapooko is a closet RINO!!! If you look back at many of his comments (commentator) you will see the vitriol he injects into his questions and comments!! He’s not a Journalist, by a Commentator hiding his Leftist Ideology!!
Dan Bongino is right on. Cavuto is what’s wrong with FOX news. Cavuto is nothing but a shill for the demoCOMMIEcrats, and FOX needs to exit him pronto.
Bongino always gets it right!!!
Hey Neil. Go F yourself. That’s as nice as I can say what I feel.
Cavito really needs to go. He obviously has shown a dislike for Trump that I have seen since Trumps first term. His reporting is contrary to FOX’s fair and balanced reporting. His definitely is tilting the scale to the left against Trump.
Always watch FOX with the exception of Cavuto. Never did like him and his attitude, FIRE his ass..
