Trump Defies RNC Loyalty Pledge, Will Announce Debate Plans Next Week

-

It's all or nothing for former President Donald Trump

The current Republican presidential front-runner is refusing to sign the Republican National Committee‘s () loyalty pledge required for candidates to participate in the first presidential debate.

The first debate hosted by is scheduled for Aug. 23 in Milwaukee.

“I wouldn't sign the pledge. Why would I sign a pledge if there are people on there that I wouldn't have. I wouldn't have certain people as somebody that I would endorse,” Trump told Newmax's Eric Bolling on Wednesday.

The former president told Bolling that he would announce next week whether he will attend the debate but so far he's been adamant he will skip the debate.

“I've already decided, and I'll be announcing something next week,” Trump said.

“I haven't totally ruled it out,” he added.

On Wednesday, Gov. Ron DeSantis (R), who is running in second place behind Trump in most , signed the RNC pledge.

Last week, the RNC announced its second set of criteria to participate in the second presidential debate. (RELATED: RNC Releases Criteria For Second GOP Debate)

  1. The stupidity that is RNC is profound! RINOS, “Dems-lite,” turn-coats — all those terms describe too many of the “leaders” of this party. I stay with the Republican Party for two reasons: (1) To be an Independent means I have no say in the primary election, and (2) The Democrat Party has been an abomination since the days of Andrew Jackson in 1829. Today, they are downright socialist and pushing for the US to become a Communist “Paradise.” I would be unclean to consider joining their so-called “Party.”
DONALD J. TRUMP IS THE ONLY PERSON I WILL VOTE FOR, FOR PRESIDENT. I admire De Santis, and wish him well as GOVERNOR OF FLORIDA. I respect Larry Elder and want him as GOVERNOR OF CALIFORNIA. I am thinking that Vivek Ramaswamy would be a great Vice President. Former VP Mike Pence needs to disappear into some deep, dark hole of political obscurity. Ditto Liz Cheney. Ditto Chris Christy. Nikki Haley can flit about, but I can’t take her as dependable. Robert Kennedy is a Dem. He may be a BETTER Dem than today’s crop of latent communists, but he is still a Dem and being a rebel does not mean he would be an effective leader. Yesh, and some fool would probably try to assassinate him as a “Kennedy Family Tradition.” As for the others, while ANY REPUBLICAN would be better than a dirty Dem, they need to bail-out, support President Trump, and go back to whatever they did before thinking they should consider candidacy.
And by the way, we need Mark Levin for Secretary of State.

  2. Trump supporters ( True Americans ) are NOT GOP or RNC supporters without Trump. Get it through your brainless rino heads, GOP IS NOTHING WITH OUT and TRUMP. WE SUPPORT WHO TRUMP SUPPORTS. WE HAVE NO PROBLEM TOTALLY DEFUNDING RINO RONNA and DEAD GOP.

    • Why would President Trump LOWER HIMSELF TO DEBATE THESE GOONS? FOX WILL ATTACK, ALL THE CANDIDATES WILL AS WELL.,.. EVERYONE WANTS TO “MAKE THEIR CAREER” ON THE BACK OF PRESIDENT TRUMP, BULL SHEEET… HE SHOULD NOT ATTEND THE FOX DEBATE, AFTER ALL, WHAT HAVE THEY DONE FOR HIM LATELY? HE’S WAY AHEAD, AND W/EACH FARCE OF A “CREATIVE PROSECUTION” HIS POLLS RISE AND CASH FLOWS.. FORGET ABOUT IT….

  3. Trump going on Fox gives them undeserved credibility, access to abuse him, and desperate to recover their former audience, they will support naked lies spoken by the competing RINO slime! Go NEWSMAX!!
