Trump Denounces ‘Fox & Friends’ After Program Airs Unflattering Photos

-

Former President may be done with “.” Trump responded with palpable frustration in a post after he saw photographs of himself he didn't like on ' flagship morning program.

“Why doesn't Fox and Friends show all of the where I am beating Biden, by a lot. They just won't do it,” Trump complained Thursday morning. “They purposely show the absolutely worst pictures of me, especially the big “orange” one with my chin pulled way back. They think they are getting away with something, they're not…And then they want me to debate,” he added. (RELATED: Democrat Mayor Wanted Less White Military Men In Police Recruiting Images)

Trump's relationship with Fox has oscillated wildly since he announced his 2016 presidential campaign from Trump Tower in Manhattan. The network's prime-time hosts typically cover the former president favorably. Especially Jesse Watters, Greg Gutfeld and Sean Hannity. Still, Trump claims, with some evidence, that executives prefer other candidates and have made editorial decisions to promote their candidacies. In recent months, Trump has taken an increasingly hardline stance against Fox. The network will host the first Republican presidential primary debate on Aug. 23 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Network executives have chosen anchors and to moderate the debate, which Trump is not expected to partake in.

In an interview with Vanity Fair, MacCallum said it's incumbent on every Republican presidential candidate to address where they stand on the criminal charges facing Trump. (RELATED: Fox News Anchor's Attempted Grilling Of Vivek Ramaswamy Falls Flat)

The Hill details MacCallum's stance on the elephant that will be in the room whether or not the ex-president joins his rivals onstage:

“Voters need to hear how they see it, and the option that they're trying to provide. It's very tricky territory for these candidates. They know that well,” she added. “It's kind of a minefield.”

“He's sort of sucking all the oxygen out of the room,” MacCallum said of Trump. “This is a very high-stakes moment for them, and not everybody will really survive the process deeper than perhaps .”

The Republican National Committee (RNC) set thresholds for candidates to meet to be eligible for a spot on the debate stage, and, so far, eight have qualified: Trump, Gov. Ron DeSantis, South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott, former U.N. ambassador Nikki Haley, former Vice President Mike Pence, entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, former Gov. Chris Christie and North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum.

Candidates are also required to sign a loyalty page ahead of the debate, promising to support the ultimate GOP candidate. Trump has said he would not sign the pledge.

  1. Fox News is denigrating down to the level of CNN. What few remaining decent anchors at Fox need to quit en masse and go somewhere else. Would be nice if Newsmax would take them.

  2. Trump is right about F & F, the morning show. Brian is not too bad but to listen to that Doocey guy is the worse person on the show.
He should be let go. What a big ego since his son, who I like, goes around and questions biden and tries to get an answer. He talks over the people on the show and some guests. He tries to get his opinions in to make them put trump down. I’m glad brian stood up for trump. He never gets to say too much; it’s always that doocey guy. Get him off the show; always talking about his cooking and his book, trying to have people buy it. Just get him off and my friends want him off too.
Also that latino lady, she is such a phony. She doesn’t even know how to broadcast. Making sure she sits up straight and just sits there doing her hair. Take her off too. Thanks.

  3. I don’t watch Fox any longer, and I won’t be watching the debate either unless Trump attends. Fox news has gone full blown CNN, they wait until the NY times or Washington Post say something, then ask each other what they think about it…. There is no journalism from Fox!

  4. Some people think that Fox is a non-liberal outlet. They are owned by the same globalist that own all the main media. I only watch the weather forecast and some sport and nothing else.
