  1. I have a bone to pick with Marco Rubio who has sent me uncountable emails asking for money, even though I haven’t been to Florida for almost 50 years. I would ask, how can Republicans team up with democrats to make something like daylight savings time, permanent, and permanent in the “spring forward” mode? I’m from Indiana and until the Republican legislature and governor lost their minds a decade or so ago, we did not change times with the rest of the country. That was okay because it kept noon pretty close to when the sun was directly overhead. Now, Marco wants us Hoosiers to live off center because he doesn’t like changing times but he does like the time changed. Works for him, so why not change it for everyone? Well we might ask ourselves why not make elections determined in Washington? Why not make abortions determined (again) in Washington, why not just rule the states from Washington like the democrats want to do? Huh? Let’s practice what we preach first, right. How can you call democrats hypocritical when you get up one day and do some improvisational bill like this turkey without even so much as a hearing or debate? The way the democrats jumped on that vote during a time of crisis and government overreach was unprecedented and should have served as a warning about it’s potential down sides. Time for DST to end all right but the solution you guys arrived at is far from ideal for many of us.
