Like , which it describes as an “international symbol of White supremacy.”

Target's diversity chief Kiera Fernandez made the decision to accelerate its most controversial diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives amid the George Floyd protests during the summer of 2020.

Fox News has more on the retail giant's nonprofit affiliations:

Fox News Digital found that Target, via its nonprofit foundation, which has been directed by the retail giant's senior corporate treasurers, funded a grantee pushing to shut down and give away U.S. sovereign land such as Mount Rushmore – believing it to be an “international symbol of White supremacy” and to demilitarize the “violent” U.S. military. The same grantee also supports the destruction of Israel's Jewish character through what is called the Palestinian “Law of Return” and implementing economic warfare tactics against the Jewish State, such as boycotts and sanctions, to “Free Palestine.”

Another Target Foundation grantee said parents must teach specifically “White children” about systemic racism and to “see color.” It also claimed that capitalism maintained a role in perpetuating racism.

The Target Foundation's webpage reflected that it funded the in 2022, a -based nonprofit with a revenue stream that has reached as high as $50M+, according to its 2021 tax filing. NDN operates with a “racial equity lens” and is “dedicated to building Indigenous power [t]hrough organizing, activism, philanthropy, grantmaking… and narrative change.”

NDN identifies as “intersectional,” which is an idea coined by a critical race theorist, Kimberlé Crenshaw, holding that America is inborn with structurally racist and misogynistic systems, and they can intersect upon an individual to form numerous layers of persecution. By joining forces with other oppressed groups, NDN hopes to move towards “liberation.”

The NDN's “LANDBACK” campaign seeks to reclaim land stolen centuries ago from indigenous peoples. Its immediate priorities include pushing the federal to surrender Mount Rushmore and return all public lands in the Black Hills.

Target has lost billions in market share since online controversy from social conservatives erupted over its displays.

  1. Even extremely large companies are managed by individual human beings; many human beings are stupid; the humans employed by Target appear to have sullied the perception of common sense being utilized at Target; thus Target may be a danger to communities and society, at large.

  2. I’m so sick of this garbage….businesses I care about what you sell not your religious, political or how many hours a night you sleep…the young have to put up with so much nonsense these days.

  3. Just like BLM showed up as a fraudulent organization that spoke on helping black lives, they only enriched themselves and have crashed and burned. All of these corporations/businesses that talk about their policies reflecting diversity/equal treatment, those policies of equal treatment have been law for decades. Now they are just intimated to making a stand for the minority that are pushing causes to further divide our country. These CEOs are obviously not concerned about 98% of their consumers so crash and burn they will…..sad to be so stupid and idiotic to follow the mentally insane and destroy your company.
