The couple were left virtually marooned just days after moving into their new home after a tributary of the River Thames which runs beside the property broke its banks.
It came after the area was battered by days of torrential rain and winds of up to 80 mph.
Roads surrounding the hideaway have been left impassable after being deluged in five feet of water – leaving locals trapped in their homes.
Stricken residents are left with no choice but to express their deep sorrow and disbelief.
The floods come just weeks after DeGeneres and de Rossi relocated to the U.K. following former President Donald Trump’s reelection. The move, widely publicized after a report from The Wrap on Nov. 13, highlighted DeGeneres’ vow to leave the United States and never come back. Friends say the couple’s dissatisfaction with the election outcome was the primary factor behind their decision to leave.
However, observers speculate that DeGeneres’ move to England might also reflect a broader attempt to distance herself from the controversies that derailed her career. In 2022, allegations of a toxic workplace culture and rampant misconduct on The Ellen DeGeneres Show severely damaged her reputation and led to the conclusion of the 19-year daytime television juggernaut. Great she left America, one less degenerate to infect Americans. Her moving to England one of my favorite places on earth, is too bad, she certainly does not deserve it in my humble opinion but the flooding pretty much sums it up, God isn’t happy with her either. I’m sure she will assimilate with other of her ilk, England is fairly liberal, but my hopes are, she will not easily be able to enjoy her escape from her past easily, she deserves to be banished from Hollywood forever.
