Erika Kirk, the widow of late Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, said the conservative organization plans to resume its nationwide presence on college campuses, despite the assassination of its founder earlier this year.

Speaking with Fox News anchor Shannon Bream on “Fox News Sunday,” Kirk said the group would continue its campus outreach efforts, including its signature “Prove Me Wrong” debates.

“We are not afraid,” Kirk said, adding that the Turning Point USA team intends to keep engaging students through open debate and discussion.

Charlie Kirk was assassinated on Sept. 10 while speaking at an outdoor event at Utah Valley University. The gathering marked the first stop of Turning Point USA’s planned “American Comeback Tour.” According to reports, the event initially appeared routine, drawing thousands of attendees.

Moments before the fatal shooting, Kirk was seated beneath a white tent displaying the slogan “Prove Me Wrong,” a format that helped define his rise to prominence through unscripted political debates on college campuses.

His death prompted an outpouring of national attention, including a memorial attended by tens of thousands, and left behind a political movement that reshaped conservative youth activism. Erika Kirk said she intends to carry that movement forward.

Charlie Kirk began building Turning Point USA as a teenager. At 18, he dropped out of community college to co-found the organization, which initially focused on organizing conservative student groups. By his mid-20s, Kirk became the youngest speaker at the Republican National Convention in 2016 and emerged as a prominent figure in conservative media and politics.

By age 31, Kirk oversaw a political organization valued at roughly $95 million, amassed millions of followers online, and developed a close relationship with President Donald Trump. With backing from major Republican donors, including Foster Friess, Turning Point USA expanded rapidly from a small campus-based initiative into a national nonprofit.

According to tax filings, the organization’s revenue grew from approximately $2 million in 2015 to $85 million in 2024, making it one of the most influential conservative youth organizations in the country.

Erika Kirk, who spoke at Turning Point USA’s annual AmericaFest conference in Phoenix in December, said the group’s mission will continue as campus chapter enrollments rise nationwide, signaling sustained interest among conservative students.

Turning Point USA has not announced specific dates for its return to campus events but has indicated that its outreach efforts will continue in the months ahead.
