Former senator and vice presidential candidate Joseph Lieberman has passed away at the age of 82, reportedly due to complications from a fall.
Lieberman was Al Gore's running mate in the 2000 presidential election. Gore's decision made Lieberman the first practicing Jew in U.S. history to run for the nation's second-highest office.
