Former President Donald Trump and Sen. Lindsey Graham spoke in Graham’s home state on Saturday, as part of the 2024 GOP presidential primary campaign.
Like most of his rallies, Trump freewheeled between discussing standard campaign fare and analyzing current events, such as President Biden’s recent double gaffe where he confused Ukraine with Iraq. The Pickens, South Carolina rally took an unexpected turn after Trump addressed Sen. Graham. Despite endorsing Trump’s 2024 bid and (largely) supporting his policies, the South Carolina Republican was met with a resounding chorus of boos and shouts of “traitor” from the crowd. Trump took notice, as Mediaite reports:
The crowd began to boo Graham, and Trump said in a joking voice, “We’re gonna, we’re gonna love him. We’re gonna love him.”
“I know, it’s half and half,” he said as the crowd continued its booing.
He continued roasting Graham as the audience’s booing mixed with laughing.
“But when I need some of those liberal votes, he’s always there to help me get them, okay? We got some pretty liberal people. But he’s good. He’s good. We know the good ones. We know the bad ones, too. We got some real bad ones. But even he makes mistakes on occasion,” Trump said.

Bad choice to bring it up and to bring up what mistake Biden has made. We all know that – stick to the FACTS not mudslinging like the Dems do. Stick to accomplishments already made and how they help the House today to create good legislation and clean up the muck. Those are Trumps accomplishments and the public especially the Left don’t need more cheap talk to work from – they need to be shut down with facts of accomplishments b4 & what he’ll do in 2024 & beyond
