The company helmed by one of former President Donald Trump’s most fervent supporters is in dire straights.
Mike Lindell’s MyPillow has begun auctioning off hundreds of “surplus equipment” pieces and is subleasing manufacturing space after major retailers cut ties due to Lindell’s election conspiracy theories. (RELATED: Fox News Keeping Jeanine Pirro Away From Certain Events: Report)
The items up for auction includes cutting and sewing equipment, forklifts and even chairs and desks.
Lindell vigorously disputes claims that MyPillow is in danger, though he admits it’s “lost $100 million.” He adds that the surplus items are no longer needed as the pillow manufacturing company “consolidates its operations.”
Newsweek further reports:
Lindell provided financial backing for legal efforts to reverse the 2020 election outcome and the MyPillow logo was included on TrumpMarch.com, a website promoting the January 6 rally that led to the riot at the U.S. Capitol.
MyPillow was later dropped by a number of major retailers, including Bed Bath & Beyond and Kohl’s.
In response, Lindell told Star Tribune that MyPillow had shifted its focus to direct sales via television and email marketing and is subleasing some of its former manufacturing space in Shakopee, Minnesota.
“We kind of needed a building and a half, but now with these moves we’re making, we can get it down to our one building,” he said.

A private arbitration panel ruled this spring that an expert in analyzing software source code disproved Lindell’s claims and ordered the MyPillow CEO to pay the software expert $5 million.
Lindell filed a motion in state court to overturn the ruling and vacate the award, claiming the panel’s ruling exceeded its authority.
The contest winner has asked a federal court to confirm the arbitrators’ decision that he proved Lindell’s data “unequivocally did not reflect November 2020 election data.”

I am sorry for Mr. Lindell. We did our best to help him, but we are but a small family of customers. Let us hope many others will step up to the plate. His programmed cancellation was unethical, un-American and a shameful blight on our nation. It presages and/or signals the death of our First Amendment.
