Billionaire attorney Nicole Shanahan became visibly emotional during an interview on Fox News, reiterating her commitment to financially support primary challengers against any senator who votes against Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s nomination for Secretary of Health and Human Services.
Shanahan’s Emotional Appeal
Shanahan, Kennedy’s former running mate, teared up as she spoke about parents losing their children.
“I want to make it clear that we are watching every one of these votes, every senator’s actions, every word that came out of their mouths,” she said. “There are hundreds of thousands mobilized to take action during primary season.”

Shanahan also emphasized her broader concerns about public health: “Like millions of Americans, I want healthy food, healthy medicine and a healthy planet. I want to watch my child grow up healthy. The number of parents burying their children is far too high. That number increases year after year. There’s no greater tragedy than watching your child suffer.”
Targeting Senators Over RFK Jr.’s Nomination
Shortly before Kennedy’s confirmation hearing on Wednesday, Shanahan posted a video on X warning senators not to oppose his nomination.
“He is more than qualified,” she stated. “He’s proven, principled and prepared to lead.” Shanahan proceeded to list key senators, urging constituents to pressure them to vote in favor of Kennedy.
She singled out Democratic Senators Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff, both from Georgia, making it clear that she would actively work to unseat them if they opposed Kennedy’s nomination. “I will make it my personal mission that you lose your seats in the Senate if you vote against the future health of America’s children.”
Expanding her warning to both parties, she named Republican Senators Mitch McConnell, Lindsey Graham, Lisa Murkowski, Susan Collins, Bill Cassidy, Thom Tillis and James Lankford, as well as Democratic Senators Cory Booker, John Fetterman, Bernie Sanders and Catherine Cortez Masto.
“This is a bipartisan message,” she stated. “While Bobby may be willing to play nice, I won’t. If you vote against him, I will personally fund challengers to primary you in your next election, and I will enlist hundreds of thousands to join me.”

Senators Express Concerns Over Kennedy’s Nomination
Nonetheless, senators from both parties continued to voice concerns about Kennedy’s views and performance during Wednesday’s hearing.
Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) voiced reservations about his nomination, stating, “I’m certainly concerned about it. Others have different concerns they want to address and are looking for public commitments from him.”
Following Kennedy’s hearing, Senator John Fetterman (D-Pa.), who was previously thought to be open to Kennedy’s nomination, indicated that his performance raised doubts about his chances of confirmation.
“I don’t think it went well for him today. I don’t think that was a good one,” Fetterman remarked. He later suggested that Kennedy’s nomination may be in jeopardy. “I think we can all agree that was really a difficult performance. I’m not sure he’ll even make it out of the committee.”
Democratic Senators Challenge Kennedy’s Positions
During the hearing, Senator Michael Bennet (D-Colo.) confronted Kennedy over past remarks in which he suggested that exposure to pesticides could be linked to an increase in transgender identification among children.
Senator Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) also engaged in a heated exchange with Kennedy, pressing him on his previous statements regarding vaccines.
As the confirmation process continues, Kennedy’s chances remain uncertain, with opposition mounting from both sides of the aisle. Shanahan, however, has made it abundantly clear that she is prepared to take political action against those who stand in Kennedy’s way.

Sounds like she knows something about Kennedy that others do not, if he is confirmed, I sure hope she is right.
Tough classy lady!
The Senators screaming the loudest are the ones taking the most money from big pharmaceutical companies. If Kennedy was running for president as democrat these same liberal senators would be in lockstep support of him.
It never ceases to amaze me to see the corrupt clowns we have running the country.
