Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski, a “moderate” Republican with a history of voting for gun bans, is the target of new ads from a no-compromise pro-gun organization.
Gun Rights America Super PAC, affiliated with the National Association for Gun Rights, is spending $80,000 across the state of Alaska in the first phase of a TV, radio, live calls direct mail, peer-to-peer texting, email and digital video ad campaign exposing Murkowski's record of voting to ban guns and register gun owners.

Murkowski faces Kelly Tshibaka, a pro-gun conservative Republican, in a ranked-choice voting race. Experts rate the race as either a toss-up or have Murkowski narrowly favored, meaning GRA's ads may tip the race.
“When it comes to voting for gun control, Lisa Murkowski has never met an anti-gun bill she didn't like,” said Dudley Brown, President of Gun Rights America. “I formed Gun Rights America Super PAC to intentionally expose turncoats like Lisa Murkowski and mobilize pro-gun voters to show up and vote anti-gunners out of office.”
“Voters and gun owners in Alaska deserve to know the truth about their elected officials, and the truth is that Lisa Murkowski votes with Joe Biden and the anti-gun Democrats when she's in the D.C. Swamp,” Brown added.
“She has no business representing the law-abiding gun owners of Alaska due to her repeated votes against the Second Amendment. It's time for her to be voted out of office once and for all,” concluded Brown.

This summer Senator Murkowski voted for S. 2938, the largest expansion of federal gun control in nearly 30 years. S. 2938 included:
*** Taxpayer-funded programs for states with “Red Flag” Gun Confiscation.
*** Closed the so-called “boyfriend loophole” stripping gun rights from men and women for simply having a toxic relationship or a bad breakup.
*** Enhanced Gun Registration targeted at military aged adults subjecting young adults who want to purchase a firearm to a gauntlet of bureaucratic red tape while further enhancing the colossal NICS Gun Registry.
Murkowski also voted to confirm Joe Biden's anti-gun Attorney General Merrick Garland and co-sponsored legislation expanding the FIX-NICS gun registration scheme, which dumped countless Americans into an unconstitutional database of gun owners.
“When someone commits a crime with a gun, liberals want to punish everyone by taking rights away from law-abiding citizens,” writes Tshibaka on her campaign website.
“Lisa Murkowski has empowered these leftists by voting away 2nd Amendment rights and casting the deciding vote to approve Biden's anti-law enforcement Department of Justice officials. I am a staunch supporter of the 2nd Amendment and I will oppose all efforts to undermine those rights,” writes Tshibaka.
