Pro-Palestinian protesters attempted to disrupt the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City for the second consecutive year, leading to over 20 arrests as tensions flared during the 98th edition of the iconic event. On Thursday, roughly 25 masked demonstrators climbed over barricades and stormed the parade route, waving Palestinian flags and holding a banner that read, “Don’t celebrate genocide” and “Land back!” The protestors positioned themselves directly in front of the Ronald McDonald float, causing a temporary halt in the parade.
Footage of the incident, captured by journalist Talia Jane, showed the group of protesters sitting in a line across Sixth Avenue, blocking the path of the parade. As the float and parade participants came to a standstill, the protesters chanted “Free, free Palestine!” The protesters immediately elicited boos and jeers from the crowd.
A second video, recorded by journalist Oliya Scootercaster, shows New York Police Department (NYPD) officers quickly moving in to arrest the demonstrators, handcuffing them as the situation escalated. In the video, an argument broke out between the protesters and a parade-goer, with one individual shouting, “Free Palestine, motherf***er,” while the parade-goer responded, “This is America!” The exchange devolved into profane insults, as onlookers continued to voice their disapproval of the interruption.

The NYPD was able to clear the street and resume the parade within 10 minutes, allowing the McDonald’s float and the rest of the procession to continue. While the protest did briefly disrupt the parade, the event proceeded largely without further incident, and the attention quickly shifted back to the floats and performers.
At the Thanksgiving Day Parade in 2023, pro-Palestine activists covered themselves in fake blood and glued their hands to Sixth Avenue in an effort to halt the parade. That protest, which occurred shortly after October 7th and tensions still particularly high, was also met with arrests, and the parade route was cleared relatively quickly by law enforcement.
Pro-Palestine activists have staged numerous demonstrations of this nature across the U.S., with the goal of advocating for the Palestinian people and calling for an end to U.S. support for Israel, which they argue has contributed to the suffering of Palestinians.
However, the effectiveness of these protests are yet to be determined, with some polling revealing that they’ve actually been counterproductive. These disruptions have faced significant backlash, especially when they target large, family-oriented events like the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Critics of the protests argue that such actions are inappropriate for an event meant to bring people together in celebration, and that the protesters’ tactics often alienate potential allies and tarnish their message.

So many are under a delusion. These people are out of control and have no idea the harm they cause or how God’s wrath is stored up against them.
Terrorist sympathizers!
I think the Jews should deport all the Palestinians like they should have thousands of years ago,
and the USA should deport all the Moslem’s from America too.
