Report: Trump Attorneys Meet With Special Counsel Jack Smith As Team Braces For Next Indictment

-

Former president Donald Trump's legal team was informed that they should prepare for another indictment against him during a meeting with federal prosecutors on Thursday.

The meeting between President Trump and Special Counsel Jack Smith and his team in Washington, D.C., also comes on the same day a grand jury is scheduled to meet at a federal courthouse, prompting speculation the indictment could be hours away.

However, Trump denied reports an indictment is coming in a Thursday afternoon post.

“My attorneys had a productive meeting with the DOJ this morning, explaining in detail that I did nothing wrong, was advised by many lawyers, and that an Indictment of me would only further destroy our Country,” wrote Trump. “No indication of notice was given during the meeting — Do not trust the Fake News on anything!”

Trump announced last week that he received a target letter from the , notifying him that he is the target of an investigation into Jan. 6th. Trump said he anticipated “an arrest and indictment.”

“They're in a rush because they want to interfere. It's interference with the election — it's election interference,” Trump said during a town hall on Fox News with Sean Hannity last week. “Never been done like this in the history of our country, and it is a disgrace what's happening to our country — whether it is the borders or the elections or kinds of things like this, where the DOJ has become a weapon for the Democrats.”

He added: “An absolute weapon.”

Earlier this summer, Smith indicted Trump for his mishandling of classified information.

  1. Another kangaroo court with a “weaponized” and corrupt justice department. Make crap up. The democrat/commie’s motto.

Meanwhile, evidence piles up on joey’s bribery schemes with foreign countries, putting the USA at a security risk. Up to $10 million in payments hidden in various shell companies that smacks of money laundering.

Any one in congress that does not act on these crimes is not fulfilling their oath of office.

joey should face charges and be held accountable by putting him in a REAL prison. There are dems in congress who said, “Nobody is above the law.” It was recorded on video and audio. Hypocrites!
