Former South Carolina governor and presidential candidate Nikki Haley says she will support former President Trump if he wins the Republican nomination for the White House.
Haley, a former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, said in an interview on CNBC’s “Squawk Box” expressed doubt over Trump’s ability to win another general election but added she would back Trump if he wins the primary.
“I would support him because I am not going to have a President Kamala Harris. We can’t afford that. That is not going to happen,” she said.
Yet Haley also noted that Trump appears to be headed for additional indictments.
“We can’t have, as Republicans, him as the nominee. He can’t win a general election. That’s the problem. We’ve got to go and have someone who can actually win,” she said.
Despite Haley’s relatively low polling numbers the presidential hopeful says she expects her numbers to rise following the first presidential debate.
Haley has met the Republican National Committee’s polling and fundraising requirements to qualify for participation in the debate, and her campaign has said she will sign the loyalty pledge to support the eventual nominee. The RNC requires candidates to have a minimum of 40,000 unique donors, including at least 200 donors from 20 or more states.
Fellow candidate Vivek Ramaswamy has also reportedly reached the RNC’s threshold to participate in the debate.
“The RNC’s debate stage criteria are stringent but fair,” Ramaswamy said in a statement.
“I am a first-time candidate who started with very low name ID, no political donors, and no pre-existing fundraising lists. If an outsider can clear the bar, politically experienced candidates should be able to as well: if you can’t hit these metrics by late August, you have absolutely no chance of defeating Joe Biden in the general election,” he added.

That may be true but she is right about one thing, Trump will never win a national general election again. The hate for Trump runs wide and deep across this country, and no matter what happens earlier, he won’t win. If the republicans don’t nominate someone that doesn’t have the baggage Trump has, the left wing democrats will win control of all Branches of our government, and that will be a disaster for this country because it will allow the democrats to destroy our constitutional republic and install their version of a socialist government in it’s place, with them in total control of course.

I am not impressed with her performance as Sec of State, and have no desire to see her on the ballot as a republican! She is a supporter of the Trump Phony, manufactured indictments, arm, and arm, with all the other Rinos, and dems, trying to tank our party, and country!
Trump is the ONLY choice!!!!
The three people who will definitely NOT be in the running is Haley, CHristie and Pence.
